  1. I didn't say it was bad...getting used to the now audible diff is the hard bit.
  2. Sorry to hear that nick, was looking forward to putting a face on you. I know you've been having mechanical issues though, it happens.
  3. That's fine Ben. Drop outs always happen, I've had to do it myself more than once. It's a nice casual event so no ones let down but thankyou for letting us know. Good luck and hopefully we will see you in the future.
  4. Entrance is slightly earlier than last year at 9am. If you wish to travel the last few miles in convoy like previous years. The rally point is as follows, please be there at 8 with the intention to be leaving around half past to quarter too. Tesco Applemore Sizer Way Dibden Southampton Hampshire SO45 5JA
  5. The amount of effort you put into that old slushbox, you could have gone manual! In all seriousness though, well done for not just throwing something dirty on in a hurry.
  6. Welcome to the world of introducing yourself by a weird name. Hi am Gary Wilson is way easier to blurt out than "hi I'm Gary, aka gaz300" trust me....
  7. Mine may go, I'm just not comfortable with those two screw on arch at 2 and 11 that are begging to gouge the tyre. That would allow me to comfortably drop another 15-20mm up front. Very sharp looking car that. A bit too low for me but that's just personal choice. No scrubbing issues? I notice there's a fair bit of camber up front?
  8. There's a blast from the past. That is seriously low. I take it you no longer have front arch liners?
  9. Plenty of travel now the arch is rolled .:)
  10. It's incredibly sharp. Body roll is non existent, it is however very harsh. Hopefully il take it out for a play this weekend. - - - Updated - - - Are those genuine LMGT4s? Very smart wheel.
  11. Once you drive it your mind will change.
  12. Cheers Russ. I would like different wheels, something wider. Just low on the financial priority list. - - - Updated - - - That's ok on the rear. Upfront though....nahhh.
  13. I will have a measure over the weekend. It's the exhaust that's hanging down. I've got about 10mm of the rear tyre tucked in the arch, the camber is what's making them look a little sunken. The front I can just about slide my finger between the arch and tyre top. I'm thinking another 10mm to go to be perfect, just don't want to go so low it's useless.
  14. Medium mate, forgot to reply. I'd go for a large though as it doesn't quite stretch over fully.
  15. No skimping on the rubber either I see simon. Get em fitted.
  16. I recon age is what kills them. The reputation is however an American issue.
  17. I take it the laughter is because I said "virtually" spontaneous combustion is highly possible.
  18. Lol i didn't invent the saying. I suppose it depends on the type of tree. Realistically though maybe it should be, ...reach for the moon and reach the highest peak...
  19. Aim for the top of the tree and you will reach the highest branch, reach for the moon and you will reach the top of the tree.
  20. Just after a stock fan shroud, a complete one with the lower portion included. For a twin turbo. Please.
  21. I've taken up gardening and listen to radio 4. I don't need anymore grown up pursuits.
  22. You could always move the PTU under the nose so it's no longer visible to be ugly. However as Pete points out it's more connections to cause issues. I also have a series 1, currently it works. If it stops il replace it with another undesirable cheap series 1.
