Stuck in gear and clutch not doing anything
That doesn't invoke much faith in their clutch does it... Are you running much power through it?

What did you do to your zed today?
Anti freeze, dipstick? The engine coolant doesn't have a reservoir and dipstick on these mate, it's an overflow/expansion bottle. If the rads full that's the key thing.

A little something for the weekend sir
The F40 does sound so special. So many great sounding cars there, recorded sound never does justice though does it. I also think to appreciate a cars music fully you must hear it under load moving, hard acceleration and deceleration, down shifts etc.

I didn't come over for it. I'm over here working, the stadium is a stones throw from work and as it stated quite late we managed to score some tickets and take the opertunity.

That's fine mate. Mine will be going into hibernation fairly soon.

Think Nissan might be running out...
New? Second hand? Condition... Importing a brand new one isn't very cheap. Doubt you'd get much change out of 500, plus the indicators etc. Second hand for a good condition one 3-350. One that needs repair, hard to say, cheaper depending on the damage really.

350z front Brembos
What terry said, they use a bigger bolt. Other than that's they are pretty straight forward from all accounts. The adapter brackets are generally to enable you to use 350z discs with stock calipers. Or to utilise the massive calipers found on evo's and various other things.

I do like 911s but for the money you can do way better. I keep looking at TVRs personally.

Reputation points for the first person to guess where I've been this evening. My first ever live football game, I thought I'd give it a go. Hint; Gol, gol, gol!!!

Alloy Selection Question - 19" or 18" whats ideal?
The pzeros are great si, however I ate through them in about 10k miles :( not just edge wear but even wear. Once they went down to the markers they became lethal. I changed them at 3mm for some farrrrrr cheaper tyres which are comparable to the grip I've had from say the falkens. I do like the pzeros but the cost vs wear almost out weighs the grip.

HICAS Deletion Question
Debatable. The shortening of the gears isn't always an upgrade. Also yeah you can buy it cheap, but it's still a 20-25 year set up.

HICAS Deletion Question

HICAS Deletion Question
I have it. It's a pretty good bit of kit in my book, far more robust than the thin stock arms. What is good about this kit in relation to others is its complete. By this I mean you don't need to use parts of the stock system, most of the kits still use the old arms and ball joints, 9/10 times the reason people remove it all, is a fault with the arms or ball joints. You could replace them but two ball joints are almost the cost of the driftworks kit... I chose to utilise the banjo fitting from the solenoid that is the low pressure return line. Bolted this to the pump and fed a line from the pump back to the pot. Nice and tidy, no cutting or funny joins etc.

What did you do to your zed today?
Before; After; My first go with a paint gun and at wet sanding. I didn't save much in the end but I'm happy with the result. For a first go anyway.

What did you do to your zed today?
Lesson learned ey. Always try to put things in the easy way, like hose clamps etc. when I got my zed previous people had put them in such awkward places, a simple 180 rotation makes it 100xs easier to service in situee.

Coolant Hose Help!
Well done, Mike is very helpful isn't he. Please go through and change ALL those pipes asap though, otherwise you be having the same issue in the very near future. Probably when it's least convenient and it's a bloody good way to over heat and kill your zed. Trust me.
