  1. ok - I filled her up with water so I could drive her a mile away so the AA could tow me to Zedworld and the water just came straight out the bottom. It must be a loose or split hose. I have arranged for Zedworld to look it, but AA wont come (no home start) Is there anyone who can come round to have a look, give me a hand? I'm not really a mechanic! If anyone can help there is beer in it for you. I am the least mechanically minded person there is,

  3. I have a lot of footage from Japfest. About an hour. It is all in digital quality recorded on mini DV. Because of the fact it is digital, it is far too big to post or put onto cd. You are welcome to pop round with a laptop and take it all.

  7. My zed has decided to dump all its water in my garage. :headvswal in one respect I am fortunate becase no damage done becasue i haven't driven it anywhere - but I dont want to drive it to a garage and risk my newly rebuilt engine overheating. Is there anyone near Bromsgrove just south of Birmingham who can lend a hand? I generally hand my car over to Z-Tech, but they are in germany right now!

Mate the best things in life are worth waiting for, and worth doing properly. If it was easy to have an amazing project car - then we would all have one.. But just look at the amazing cars in the rides section and ask the owner if they felt like giving up, or if the project was too much or too expensive. I bet all of them would say yes - but ask them if now the project is over was it worth the blood sweat and tears? I know all will say yes. Only you know how your zed will turn out... just make sure you go along the same road as the other top zeds... and finish her. Can I get down off my soap box now before I fall? lol

  18. what are they like to drive? 0-60 in 2.6 sounds nice.. as does 0-100-0 in 9.4s faster than a ferrari enzo or Mclaren F1.
  19. I think I might go for one of these and build it over the next year. Has anyone here, built/owned/driven one of these beasts?
  20. So what is up with your current engine? doesnt that push out 479 rwbhp? and what will you be doing with it? I am looking for a project engine to build so I can keep mine on the road while I build it.
  21. I moved from sales to IT 10 yrs ago and have never looked back. With the industry moving so quickly there is always something new to do. I started out as a desktop engineer fixing simple windows, word, excel and email issues (a very good way to get into IT IMHO because these are tools you probably have on your PC right now). I then progressed to server engineer then eventually I have become a SAN and SQL guru. Along the way I have picked up all sorts of very usefull skills like web design and systems architect. IT is a vast area where you can do almost anything you can dream up as a job. The thing is, find a path you want to take. Do the study first, just to get your foot in the door, then the world is your oyster. Feel free to ask me any questions you want, I will always help if I can.
  22. ok - I just realised you are refering to a person. I'll just go back to sleep now!
