I have only ever had RED keys, what is the difference between them all?

On fitting a new stereo I saw a a green LED behind everything so I mounted it where I can see it. When I drive I can see it pulse with the revs of the engine. Looking at a picture of a ZED for sale on here I see the same LED attached to the TC switch. So my question is, what is it for and how does it work?

150kgs a seat? by my maths 1kg=2.2 ibs so a seat weighs 330lbs (23stone each?) lol, I better get lighter seats. :rofl: everywhere I look it has an unlaiden weight of 1390kgs

that's right, biofuel is a fuel-alcopop mix and lpg is the by-product of making petrol.

1 hour, a tooth brush and a tube of autosolve is all the chemical cleaning I do!

and thats why LPG cars have a reputation of running rough.. its because instead of having a map for petrol and a map for 114 octane lpg which requires more advance, they buy a crap system with one map and an ECU that cant make the distinction. get a propper system fitted to take advantage of both or now you can even get a system that can be started on LPG and do away with petrol all together!

LPG has an increased consumption of around 10% . If you predict 13 mpg - that would mean you are not even hitting 15mpg - so you either have a VERY heavy right foot, or you are running a very high power zed that drinks it up. Either way - RESPECT!!!

LPG is actually 114 octane fuel and if set up correctly, you could squeeze another 35-40 bhp out of a standard TT engine. This is something I have been researching recently....

My speedo is in MPH but only goes to 100mph, I have the speed warning chimes but with a mines ECU which has a delimiter built in. all very confusing. Who can supply and fit UK clocks?

My TT pulls cleanly from 30mph in 5th.... hope thats a start.

I have a clarkson dvd where he lines up all the Zeds from 60's 70's 80's 90's against the 350z (which he drives). He says the 350 is lighter and more powerfull than the others so he expects to win. The shock on his face when he gets whupped by a 300TT is priceless and one of my fav vids ever.

has anyone tried to fit one in a 300zx TT?, if so from what car did you source it from? how do the ratios/performance compare?

My gearbox was shot with sloppy change and no reverse. I sent it to CTS on the A5 near luton and they fixed the reverse issue with a full engine rebuild and the sloppy change with new bushes. Now it changes just as sweetly as my 2 yr old pug 307..... don't laugh cuz they have a nice change. not being one to hijack a thread, I will start a new one with a question about 6sp...

Hi danny, is it from a manual or auto? How do you tell if the turbos are uprated without having the engine running?

I have just had a full rebuild, but do I need another one if I want my engine to rev to 8000rpm, or can I just fit uprated conrods pistons and head bolts? would it make more sense to buy a 2nd engine and get it built to the spec I want, then swap them over? What do you guys think? Dont want to spend a million quid, but I can see this wont be cheap!
