ok - so I have not tested it against Nortons, which might well be the best... but have you tested it against the latest version of AVG? I think it has only been available for 4-5 weeks, and looks completely different.

Dont use your AVG from disk. Go to the website and download the latest version. It has been completely redisgned, and the free updates (which can be scheduled) are available every couple of days - so you are always up to date. I have a friend who is having troubles with viruses even though he was subscribed to Macafee for paid updates. I installed avg for him and the first virus scan found 34 critical files and over a hundred warnings..... Free is not always the worst! I'd stick with AVG.

So does having traction control improve mpg or make it worse? That bit wasn't clear?

What was the problem with chroming the headlight inserts? Was it too expensive or did it not work properly? Just I really wanted a set.

ok guys... Question for you here. As you know I have given you guys first dibs on my NA (just doing the decent thing to offer you guys first) but before I put it on ebay, I keep seeing it is more cost effective to break them.. but is the true of NA's? Should I flog it whole or break it?

I just paid £1300 for my Zed TT...... :-) but then I had to pay for a full engine rebuild at Z-Tech. Then I wanted Race logic traction control to be fitted, a set of 18's and then spent a rediculous amount on a Private plate! OMG I have just read that again! Now I cant tell if my Z was cheap or not! Anyone know of a good therapist? I need help!

If I wanted to make 600bhp from a motor that wasn't stressed to the limit, would it be possible and would it be driveable everyday? If this is possible, what do I need - what pistons, cams, heads, turbos, exhaust? I'm after the actual wish list. I know we have some real tuning guru's here and I don't want to do anything experimental - just the biggest power that will be useable.

What is the Ultimate engine config for MAHOOOOSIVE power that is reliable.. I have seen the 10 second zed with stock internals.... but there could be an ultimate wish list for a ZED engine.. what would it be. Not worried about cost, just the end results... but also am interested in traditional tuning techniques as well as all the best bolt on goodies. After all that what would be the outcome? The only stipulation is that it has to be reliable (so no race engine specs that need a reuild every 1000 miles)... Come on, Indulge me.... Ryan at Ztech has just rebuilt one of my Zeds.. I have put 2 imports through an MOT and the speedo was reading KPH both times... It has never been an issue for me.
