  1. Aye, offer still stands.
  2. Good stuff Si. I'll grab those reflectors from you if you come?
  3. You didn't specify you wanted a second hand one. hence my post.
  4. Clearly it isn't that difficult since you have posted a link of where to buy one....
  5. I have a mate who is driving down from Scotland in his supercharged 350z to get it mapped at Abbey Motorsport. He's stopping off in Hartlepool for a few days, so thinking of a wee mini meet on Tuesday night at the Historic Quay car park. Probs about 7pm. All welcome
  6. New left pod surround from z centre arrived so fitted that. Kept the pods out as doing an LED conversion. Bought a load of LED strips from eBay to do LED tail lights (whilst looking as close to 99 spec OEM as possible)
  7. I'm tempted to buy them simply to burn them...
  8. R33 GTS-T. though they are quite a large car.
  9. Clearly you have had some kind of issue with them. I was with Sky for 4 years, including one claim, and I can't fault them in the slightest. OP - I'm with Livingstones Warman (they're a broker). They insure all 3 cars in my household, and I have yet to find anyone who can beat them. But as with many things, there are so many variables with insurance, that 2 people who live next door to each other could get massively different results. Just do some homework, and try all the brokers (Livingstones Warman, Sky, AF, A-Plan, Prestige, Chris Knott...and any others you can find), and try all the comparison sites too. Just remember the cheapest bottom price, isn't always the best deal.
  10. Oyster card if you plan on using public transport whilst you are there (buses, tube). You will be able to buy one when you get to Euston Station. Tube is easiest for that journey. Straight onto the Metropolitan Line at Euston, all the way to Wembley. No changes.
  11. Don't do it Si!
  12. Scam for sure they'll ask for a "shipping deposit then once laid you'll never hear from them again.
  13. Has it been in an accident at any point?
  14. 0630 this morning I was at a petrol station in Hartlepool topping up before heading off to see Jeff at Zedworld. I wanted to get a full inspection done, and conZult check. Also oil and filter change whilst he was at it. Was nice to meet Jeff, and even nicer to find out that mechanically the car is pretty damn perfect (goosed AC aside). ConZult showed no problems, and even that it appears the car has a 16 bit ECU and that it has been mapped at some point in the past (I plan to open it sometime and see if it's been socketed and chipped). Had a chat about the gearbox noise, and he confirmed what Paulzx had suggested to me about the gaitors. So when I got home this afternoon I proceeded to pull apart the interior. First off I was once again staggered by the wiring mess of previous people to work on the car....I will get around to sorting it out and tidying it up once new stereo is chosen. the black wire at the top is a Nokia charge cable that's in glove box. No idea what the luminicient green one is. Found this to be entertaining too Anyway, sure enough the bottom rubber had popped off and the middle one was ripped. All sorted now and cabin is lovely and quiet. My panic about needing a new gearbox was unfounded! Postman had been whilst I was in Birmingham and had delivered these Manage to get some of them fitted. Will post pics when complete. Plan on detailing engine bay at same time.
  15. Point taken and agreed with Lee. We could certainly move it further North, but not so far as to scare off the Yorkshire contingent. Maybe Guisborough or Stokesly?
  16. Following on from the relative success of the Scarborough meet, it's been decided to make it a monthly affair. 4th Sunday of every month. At the same venue. I'll post more details shortly.
  17. I was watching these, and was gonna bid. But collection only put me off.
  18. It's all about personal preference when it comes to springs and coil covers. I've had Tein in the past and they were ok. But the KW's I had were in a class of there own. Set your budget then see what you can get.
  19. Swore at it when it developed a lumpy idle on the Scarborough meet today. Then fell in love with it all over again when it sorted itself out.
  20. Anything is possible of you throw enough money at it. But for the cost of getting the HKS boxes and then getting someone to chop it up, you may as well take a pic of what you want to a custom exhaust fabrication place and let them do the whole system. Don't know where you stay, but I've used MIJ Performance in Derby who were ok, and AAS exhaust in Newcastle who's work is amazing and faultless.
  21. There is a chip shop restaurant next to the shell station. We're meeting in it's car park
  22. Good stuff Lee. Looking like a reasonable turn out. let's hope the weather improves.
