  1. Considering replacing the cone filter I have with OEM boxes and panel filters. Anyone got some they want shot of?
  2. Check all the pipework under the bonnet. Specifically boost pipes.
  3. You have misread. They supplied a V5 for the details of the "scrapped" Zed. There is no way the DVLA is going to let you keep a 92 reg car in any shape way or form when you are using a 90 chassis/vin. If they let you off without an IVA you will have a 90 reg car. But I'll be honest and say I don't think you have a hope in hell of getting away without doing an IVA. I've been wrong before though.
  4. God loves a trier....mods do not.
  5. 2 from 350z-uk - SuperStu MartinMac
  6. eBay having huge server issues at the moment. Have been since about 1600.
  7. Er.....no. If I understand you correct, you have transplanted engine and interior into a 90 chassis/body. That being the case you have transplanted things INTO the 90 chassis/body. As such, you can only use the details of the 90. BUT, if it is recorded as being scrapped (on DVLA database), then you will have to go through the process of getting an IVA so that you can be issued with a new V5 as from the DVLA point of view, you have created a new car. You will first need to apply to the DVLA for a new VIN. Basically your car will be treated as a kit car. And you will be in a world of pain to get it registered and on the road.
  8. I had really hoped to do this this year, but there's no way my Zed will be back on the road by then. Next year for sure though!
  9. You'll likely just be running rich, and maybe a tad lumpy at points. To be honest all your doing is burning more fuel/money.
  10. Sell the 99 spec to me and colour code your tash. Job done.
  11. Here are some wiring diagrams for the kinda thing you want: http://www.instructables.com/id/Custom-stereo-Installation-NO-HEAD-UNIT/?ALLSTEPS

If I'm on leave then yeah. Although I'll be in the Megane as the Z is off the road.
  13. Do one now. You'll know for sure then. Only costs a few quid.
  14. No. It's only on V5 in case of a Cat A or B. Cat C or D is not required to be on the V5. I know you're probably feeling crap, but why on earth did you not do a HPI check?!?
  15. There were issues similar to this last week. It's caused by older servers reaching their max routing limits. There were a number if articles about it last week.
  16. I'm the same mate I owned one for 4 years. Never had a single bit of bother with it in the 50k miles. Fantastically balanced car on B roads. Phenomenal levels of grip, and that howling engine (with a custom exhaust).
  17. Curious to know if you have owned a RX8?
  18. Welcome. I hope the information is about Z32s. I know plenty already about Ray Bans, viagra and fake Russian rolex.
  19. Leaking/shagged shock can cause it too. Sub frame bushes would be the first check I'd make.
  20. Frees up space in the engine bay. Allows much larger batteries to be installed if you're powering a large amount of ICE. I have the cable ran into the boot through the same grommet as Rolandas has used, but the cable then runs under the center console. Doubt this would be possible in a 2+2 though. My move has never been finished though, just the wiring. Batter itself is still in the engine bay.
  21. If you give your usernames at the entry point you will get entry (Zeds only)
  22. Yeah man, I've got yours. Without reg numbers you can still attend, but you don't get priority parking in the car park. Plenty on the street outside though.
  23. What brand and which bushes? Clark Motorsport do good prices on Whiteline bushes.
  24. Lot of work gone into that so kudos. Surprised you went with powder coating though (especially on cross member and rear subframe). Couple of years down the line it'll be chipped to buggery and letting water get at bare metal again.
