Ferrybridge vs Coventry
I plan on getting a historical record of the cars that attend. I've got the majority of it already. Whilst I am not planning on Coventry becoming an annual thing, I do intend to do something similar every 2 years. It was 8 years since Ferrybridge, and I don't want to leave it another 8 years till the next big one :)

Ferrybridge vs Coventry
I wonder how many of the zeds at that meet will be at Coventry, and how many of them have been broken since.

Blowers not working
Check the relays and fuses for the system. Could be a dodgy really by the sounds of it. Switch it out for a known good one to check (IIRC the headlight relays are the same type).

Wheel wobble under high speed braking
Start with the simple things - check all your wheel nuts are torqued correctly (inc spacers if you have them). Check for any obvious uneven wear on pads and discs.

7 days to go now. Be sure you have downloaded the file from this thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?176857-25-Anniversary-Meet-Download-for-attendee-s It has a small map on how to enter Millennium Place. Coventry is full of bus only and one way systems which you don't want to be lost in!

25 Anniversary Meet - Download for attendee's
Bump. 7 days to go. Make sure you have the above info. Coventry is a nightmare of a one way and bus only system so you want to know where you're going!

Front grill styling discussion.
Found a pic: Yeah, left it on. It was then on my VXR8. And then on my S-Max until late last year when someone buggered it by crashing into the front of me. The Slicky has a 3/4 plate.

It was my private plate - "L3 XXD" lol Pulled by an undercover car. Claimed his ANPR couldn't read my plate because it was too small.

I think I must be the only person to ever be stopped for running a 3/4 plate! £60 spot fine.

body shop draining my motivation
How far are you willing to send it? I can highly recommend Clark Motorsport up in Aberdeen. I also used to drive past this place most days when I was working on the new Forth Road Bridge: http://www.sitechracing.co.uk/ They always had a scattering of Supra's and stuff out the front. They don't list bodywork on their website, but I would assume they have a trusted place they use.

Had it fitted to my 350z when I had the Amuse front bumper. Looked smart. No reason why it wouldn't look good on yours. Check your PM's btw.

Zcentre track rod issues
Check with Z Centre that they sent you the right parts. I've had it before (from a different seller) when they have sent S14 parts instead of Z33 parts.

Drive to anniversary meet on 19th
Just a reminder to time your arrival for 10am or after. I only get access a little before that and need time to set up.

another windscreen question
Put some blank paper behind the glass. It will show it's colour as either blue or bronze.

Any ideas?
I think that's the Brabus version.

25th Anniversary Hotels and pre meet drinks
You're in same hotel as me (Belgrade Plaza Premier Inn). There is a multi story car park (awards for security etc) around the back. Works out at £10 for 24 hours. It is literally around the back of the hotel: http://www.belgradeplaza.co.uk/park/

anyone in Exeter?
I wish people would learn to write adverts properly. That is shocking. Decatted? You ever driven an NA with Decats? You'd hate the car within 20 miles of driving on a motorway. £500 notes on top of that and you could have had my Slicktop when it was up for sale.

Changing Wheel Studs.......
Think about the stresses a wheel hub goes through. A wheel hub has to be centred to reduce the lateral stresses on wheels studs. Even more so if (like most cars) they have been over tightened. If (for example) your wheels have a CB of 70mm and do not have spigot rings, then that is 3.9mm of possible lateral movement (300zx CB is 66.1mm). The only thing stopping that movement is your wheel studs. So that is where all the force of acceleration, deceleration, pot holes, suspension travel is loaded through. Since spigot rings cost about £2 each, is it really worth not having them and then potentially snapping all your new wheel studs.....possibly whilst on the road?
