  1. Take it to a different garage. I can rattle of a list of NE garages to take it to. Nearest to you would likely be JM Imports (although not the cheapest). Revolution in Gateshead would do it Car Tech in Hartlepool Falcon Performance in Boro. If I was home on leave I'd do it for you. But I'm away for another week yet, and then down in Coventry for the 25th Anniversary meet.
  2. Bump. The Wetherspoons in Coventry is called "The Flying Standard" and is only about 5 minutes walk from the museum (10 mins walk from Premier Inn).
  3. Looking good! I look forward to seeing another Slicky in a few weeks.
  4. I gave you the link on how to do them in your other thread!
  5. If anyone wishes to attend this event could you please contact Arkright soonest. Many of the older S30 chassis cars attend this event, and it's good to know and see the heritage of the Z's.
  6. Yep. Email me as per the first post. Or PM me if you plan to re sub once you have a car and known it's reg number.
  7. Sorry to see that mate. Gutting to find that kinda rot. But in honesty that looks worse than it likely is. You could get new sills welded into that without issue I would think. As for driving it to Bodymech. Honestly I wouldn't risk it. You can only drive from home to a place of a booked MOT or repair/MOT. Now, in "theory" you could book an MOT with someone next door to bodymech, but the chances of a copper seeing that as a reasonable distance to drive are slim to feck all. What you need a a friendly member with a beavertail who is will to do you an epic favour. Only one I know with one is DKBORO121.
  8. There's a guide on the yank forums if you go looking for it ;)
  9. Peter: http://300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/at/096.gif http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=289433
  10. Do it happen at all speeds/acceleration? Does it happen when driving on perfectly flat roads? Or only when on rough/potholed roads? Any particular area it sounds like it's coming from - Front/Rear/Left/Right? Give us more information to go on ;)
  11. You still haven't emailed me your reg number details as per: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?176523-25rh-Anniversary-meet-Action-required
  12. There's a link somewhere on how to do the Auto box diagnostics. Have a search for it. Firstly you need to find why the studs snapped. Are aftermarket wheels fitted? Do they have the correct size spigot rings fitted? If not, undue stress is caused on the studs and can shear them. Here's a link on how to change them: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/300zx-how-to-replace-a-wheel-stud-and-install-wheel-spacers.html As Jeff says, get them from Nissan.
  13. Try the following (import friendly): Livinstones Warman (I have all 3 of my cars with this broker) Sky Insurance Prestige Chris Knott
  14. Better than it never being tested though and being un-roadworthy all the time.
  15. It does not make it flawed. It would be criminal for the DVLA to say that a 12 month MOT certificate means a car is road worthy for those 12 months. A car can become unroadworthy just from hitting a pothole hard enough....and how many of those do you hit every year or even every month? There are many things that make a MOT flawed in my eyes. But the fact that it is only a 12 month occurrence is not one of them.
  16. That does not make it flawed Dan. It clearly states that an MOT is NOT a certificate of road worthiness.
  17. You got a smart phone? It'll download as a .pdf and you can view it that way.
  18. 68 at last count. I suspect more of those to drop out though.
  19. PayPal is automatic isn't it? You're listed as Subscribed so should be able to PM?
  20. Looking for 2 pairs of Hubcentric spacers. Don't want new, as I will either be selling the car or the wheels in the near future. Sick of missing out on eBay. 1 pair of 25mm and 1 pair of 20mm needed. Basically want them to get the stance looking right for the 25th Anniversary Meet.
  21. Legal to drive to the MOT station where the car is booked for test. Still illegal to drive the car without number plates (unless trade plates present).
  22. I cannot stress how much patience is needed to separate a set of rear lights. You need at least 40 mins per light to ensure that you don't melt them or crack them or split them.
  23. Just want to check you are aware that the front fog lights also contain the side lights. So there are 2 bulbs in each unit. One is a sidelight 501 bulb, the other is the main fog bulb. Which did they change?
  24. Missed your reference to timings. Ideally I don't want anyone arriving until 1000. I only get access a little before then and need time to organise.
