My friendly MOT tester is unable to test my car in the time scale I need. As HIDs are a grey area, and I really don't have the time to fight with an MOT tester over them, does anyone have a pair of standard H3C headlight bulbs they could loan me? I can send them back to you once it's through the test. Need these urgently as MOT is booked for Friday. Cheers

Regarding the 4 months MOT - I suppose you could say it's a risk. But I bought mine with no MOT at all, and it passed first time. It'll give you some room to haggle. Even though it's on an M plate, it's not a series 4 (They have manual AC pod's not the digital type).

Roughly speaking, if you look at the price in $ on the US website, and then replace the $ with a £ then that's what it'll cost with Shipping and Taxes. ie - if everythign you are getting from Z1 is around $450, it will cost around £450 to your door.

Morning, I am in need of a number of volunteers to help on the day. Firstly, I need 3 people to assist with parking on the day. Ian Greenfield and Kev (Harby300) are helping, so I require one more. Get a custom one made up. That way you get the sound and look you want. My experience of Japspeed products comes from 350z ownership and safe to say I wouldn't buy from them. Each to their own though.

Not long now folks. A few quick points: 1. Can all people camping at the Village Hall, be sure to pitch your tents AT THE BACK of the wee field. There is going to be a row of cars at the front of the field. It will also ensure we can fit all the campers on. 2. No cars other that "Z's" will be allowed to remain at the Village Hall (exceptions will be foe the Band and their staff). 3. There will be wrist bands given out to see Midge. Make sure you find me or Martin to get one. 4. Sat BBQ will be a small fee. 5. If you are one of those who don't plan on using their car for the weekend once they arrive, please let me know as it means I can block you in and fit more cars into the car park easier. 6. If you plan on eating at the Rose and Crown on Friday or Saturday then please call up in the next few days and book a table. 7. Sat and Sunday morning there will be a buffet style breakfast at the Rose and Crown (NOT FREE). 8. If you car has a clearance of less than 5 inches, then please PM me. You will need my phone number so that when you arrive I can have some planks ready to help you over the small speed bump. 9. Bring waterproofs! It's the Lake District, and it's LakeZ = it will rain. ;)

In all honesty the chances of those ebay crap fitting properly are slim, and even less likely to help you pass emissions. If you prefer to run with cats (llike I do) then find some off a breaker or go to a custom exhaust place and get some made up in stainless steel. Also as a point of note, when my NA had decats in (95 series 4) the co2 levels would still have passed a post 95 test.
