does anyone know anything about this zed?
Is it Peachs old car?

Is the cost of having a Zed worth it - seriously in need of motivation now, help!
You haven't looked particularly well for insurance unless you're 18 with 6 points? An NA on a clean licence in an ok postcode should be more than £300. I pay £200. Although my classic policy is limited to 3000 miles.

Any thoughts on this?
I'd be looking closely at that repair. If one sill has gone, chances are the other will be well on the way. They rot from the inside out he really so it's difficult to always see.

New Z32 Project ! need OEM parts
There's a rear view mirror on eBay for something like £15. Scuttle panels you are better off buying new as used ones tend to be very fragile, and the fixing are normally shagged. ZCentre do them, although I found it cheaper to get them imported from the US (CZP sell RHD ones).

who stocks 99 spec rear lights
I don't think anyone has them actually instock. Most are on back order from Japan. I know CZP have something like a 3 month lead time on them at the moment.

HID question - balast on its way out?
My HIDs cost £22 delivered from eBay.

HID question - balast on its way out?
Yep. I'd say it was the ballast. They're so bloody cheap these days you may as well get a new one just to rule it out if nothing else. Could also be some moisture in the connections if the rubber insulators have started breaking down. Strip them and check, then fill with dielectric grease.

wiring from the clock spring
Once again I am at work when you ask these things so I can't go take pics! lol 2 of the wires end up with a loop of wire connecting them, and one other gets a spade connector to take it to the horn. Unfortunately I cannot remember which is which!

genuine 99 spec front bumper and all the trimmings value
It looked like one of the cleanest cars at Coventry. I really liked it! What's the niggles with it? Surely it's worth selling on rather than breaking. Unless it's a rot box.
