  1. I'll look into Santa Pod or similar. The main issue is dedicated club days are bloody expensive and I don't think there would be enough interest from here. However we could have a meet at a normal RWYB day. I'll look into getting the club an invite for Silverstone Classic
  2. I assuming you have googled and came up with this: http://www.ehow.com/how_7286258_program-remote-1995-nissan-300zx.html (there are other links confirming same process). You could buy a cheap kit from RClick (around £20 IIRC), and fit an aftermarket actuator into the door (I have a guide on it in the guides section). That'll give you what you are after if you are unable to reprogramme the OEM keyfob.

  4. You're gonna be scared witless to ever wash that car for fear of putting in swirl marks!

  6. Speak to Admin Dan. This thread is purely on meets, and I'm not Admin so can't help with that anyway.

  8. Good ideas. I like the technical meet idea. I'll look more into that. My initial thought is that such a meet would need to be limited in numbers. Purely because you can only get so many people around an engine bay to see what is going on! Let me look into that more. I am planning more family based events, although we already do have 3 on the 2015 calender (LakeZ, Coventry, Beaulieu).

  10. Yeah of course. I'll stick a thread up over there and put you in touch with the REO for there. There is Classic Z Register too. Although their website seems to be suffering from issues at the moment, but they have a Facebook page.

  12. Anyone? .... Come on. What about those of you who criticised JAE? Surely you have ideas on what you want to see?

  14. Very disappointed that not a single 300zx showed up today. Even those who confirmed as recently as this week. Oh well. Next time.
  15. Ian - any programme that does vector diagram. Or even pdf provided measurements are accurate.
  16. Cool. I'll let you know. Are they flat or do they have a curve? Will need to have a think how to do the colour effectively
  17. Ian - I have access to a plastic laser cutter and plastics at trade prices. If you could get me some accurate measurements I could look at knocking out a test template? I don't have time at the moment to measure my own car.
  18. If you read the whole thread, you will see Andrew (post 3) has put the link to them on the Australian 300zx forum.
  19. You want to come do mine once my extension is finished?! Looking good Gary.
  20. You likely won't get in the car park as there is already a reserve list. But I'll add you to that. Park outside on the road, and if there are a number of non shows you will get in at around 1230
  21. Just for clarification of law, it is ILLEGAL to use front (or rear) fogs when there is no reduced visibility. See this for reference: https://www.gov.uk/driving-adverse-weather-conditions-226-to-237/fog-234-to-236 In my younger days I got pulled and fined by the local plod for driving with my front fogs on. DRL's on modern cars are a completely different entity, and are of low intensity so as not to cause issues with blinding other road users. Surely a more sensible solution would be to have the sidelights (which are in the fog units themselves) to operate on a separate switch which can make them independent of the rear lights. Stick a 501 LED wedge in them, and you would have your modern look DRL's without risk of the rozzers being pissed at you.
  22. Assuming you mean Lambda (o2) sensors. Yes, you can unplug them. Car will run a stock AFM. In reality it means you will just run a little rich.
  23. Mike @ MJP may be the man for this.
  24. It's already on there as "Simple Japanese"
