UK swb TT
Didn't mean to sound harsh mate. Merely that the advert is *****cks already if the seller is claiming it's a UK SWB.

UK swb TT
No such thing as a UK SWB. All official UK cars are LWB TT.

Time to move on!
If I were in your position, I would sell on what you have and enjoy the car as it is for 3 or 4 years. By that time when it comes to building an engine, you're thoughts or ideas for what you want to build will have changed. If you keep the parts you will be tied into the direction of the build.

wheels and tyres question
You can get Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta in that fitting for £150 a corner delivered.

Vac - air pipe
Has the car ever had a oil catch can fitted?

Does anyone know the make of these alloy wheels?
Lets keep it on topic too. I've had a good google around mate, and can't help you with the wheel type.

wheels and tyres question
As Stephen says, you need to keep the rolling radius correct. As for tyres - buy from Tyreleader.co.uk. Cheapest around at the moment.

Are they genuine split rims or just made up to look like that? It could help narrow down the search for you.

They look like Veilside Andrew V. Although without a side profile of a wheel I couldn't be sure.

Your clubs needs you (and your ideas!)
All great ideas guys. I have a busy few weeks coming up with work and weddings and family holidays. But I'll compile some kind of manifesto type thing detailing how I plan to move forward with meets and get it posted up towards the end of next month and we will go from there. ------ As a note to all members - don't be afraid to post up meets or events in the regional sections yourself. Ideally contact the REO for that area first, but if you know of a monthly meet that you think members may be interested in, then post of the details in the appropriate regional area and take it from there. With regards to national shows (big and small) I would prefer a courtesy PM before you post up as there may already be something going on behind the scenes that you would need to know about.

Finally android datascan
I heard a rumour that Torque Pro Consult was in development. Good news! I'll hang on until that is released I think, and then get a suitable BT adapter. Problem is that a number of the dongles don't work on cars with 16BIT ECU's like mine.

Stephen is talking about how much if you boost a NA block.

NA rear subframe
I had agreed to buy one from someone local to me, but they've stopped responding to correspondence which is a pain. So I need a rear NA subframe. I don't require the bushes to be in good condition or any other ancillaries. The frame itself must be straight though, and not rotted through anywhere. Local is best, but I can travel to collect.

FAO Nezzi21
Sorry to hear this (missed this thread previously). I will look into it for you.

polishing 300zx
What Si said. Depends on how badly the paint is swirls/hologrammed. How many RLS (random light scratches), what quality of wax you want afterwards. For badly swirled paint and scratches and a good wax you won't get much change from £400. Although that can easily go up to £600 depending on variables.

Drive train rattle?
Check condition of your differential and subframe bushes. Mine does this, but the rear subframe bushes are almost non existent. Replacing them next month which should cure it.

Air idle valve
$320 for the IACV and another couple of $ for the gasket. May as well replace hoses at same time for around $50. So looking at £400 shipped to your door from the US. Pretty easy to change, just a little fiddly.

Green pedal stopper!
You could also try Nissan. Get the part number (either from online or ask Ash - adl-phoenix) and your dealer. Sometimes, just sometimes, they don't charge astronomical prices for parts.

Your clubs needs you (and your ideas!)
I'll look into Santa Pod or similar. The main issue is dedicated club days are bloody expensive and I don't think there would be enough interest from here. However we could have a meet at a normal RWYB day. I'll look into getting the club an invite for Silverstone Classic
