Take 2 good turbo,s that were perfect and none smoking,producing good boost to have 360,s fitted and a bit of tweaking on the housing and blade fronts...fitted them and put the motor in over the w/end and then brought the oil pressure up with the fuel pump fuse out and after good oil pressure let it fire up and idle for 5 mins to be confronted by so much blue smoke i thought ide had a cataract over my 2 eyes. Got under the car and noticed oil weeping from the exhaust housing side on both tubs:angry:...Took the down pipes off and found this...to say ime pissed right now is an understatement,looks like he,s forgot to fit the seals:eek: please Discuss:yes:

Dont do what ive just done...rebuilt motor and running fantastic then couple weeks into enjoying it the lower plenum gasket fails allowing oil to be injested into number 6 from the oil passage...engine out again and strip including heads off to be on the safe side. And why did Karma deal me this card?? i thought ide save a couple of pounds and bought a none Nissan gasket off Ebay:( Make my mis-fortune your good fortune and only buy OEM gaskets and seals guys.

Apart from being told by a friend i bet nearly all of the members here found this place via the internet and i bet at least 95% typed the word "forum" into the search engine...We must also not forget we have a hell of a lot of overseas vistitors passing through and just by distance a forum based club is there only viable stopping point.Ime confused that people are confused whether this is a club or not..and those who dont know get to know as soon as they log in and start reading the pages:confused: Why are we trying to invent something thats already here...

But as i see it Steve this is now steering away from parts overseas that we cant get to parts that we can get even iff the trader is not connected to this club...all the traders you have listed have uk sites and we all know this as we buy from them.The main objective of this thread was asking why there are "better" parts available in the US and not here and its this problem that should be addressed not getting more traders all selling the same gear here.

I think its buisness that dictates how much exposure a paticular car gets more than its owners or car clubs...Deemon Tweeks atm lists almost nothing for our cars and also a few more tuning places too.I dont think anyone running any buisness would put on its shelves 10 sets of 300zx intercoolers when they could sell 5 times as many for say the Evo or scooby.Look in any car mag and in some cases even Jap mags and see the ratio of tuning bits for our cars compared to other jap cars,its an eye opener. Getting anyone to make and provide patten parts (metal or plastic) is going to be almost impossible given the initial tooling cost for injection moulding or a press...My mate had an injection mould tool made for a cold water restriction valve for infant schools which was no bigger than a 10p piece and it cost him 15K.
