Its all down to personal opinion, If we all liked the same thing then it would be a boring world to live in. Personally I think that it is the worst monstrosity of a bumper ever designed and the biggest waste of glass fibre this side of the reliant robin but I do realise that some people like it, though fook knows why...... but you like it so thats all that matters ;)

For the creaking noise get the lower suspension arms checked at the point where the tension rods bolt on. The knocking could be related to this or worn bushes / ball joints. tbh any decent garage should be able to pinpoint a fault in the suspension.

Ok Saturday 24th May for the club run. I'll need a list of whos going to be going, to arrange start and meeting points also probably best to get a rough idea on numbers to try and arrange some pub grub enroute. I'll start a new thread with some details soon. April meeting will basically be a meet somewhere handy for travelling to Crail, nice to arrive together if possible. If anyone wants to arrange a meeting beforehand feel free to do so, I'm going to be tied up for the next few weeks trying to get the car back on the road so selfishly im not arranging anything in March :D

Great.... I still dont know myself whether I will manage to Z008, it all depends on how the cars running by then, ive said for the last 3 years that I would go down to some of the big national meeting and havent managed yet so I need to get my finger out and go down. As for Ed only met him a couple of times at meets, but never heard anything of him for ages

If thats the case we can give it a miss, not really my scene or many others. and looking at the web site it would work out quitwe expensive if anyone brought their kids.

I suggest the next meeting be a run to Crail on 13th April, which ties in with the Jap show being held there. ( if I get my finger out I may even have my car back on the road) The following meeting I want to make as a club run, up through Glencoe or the likes stopping off for a meal somewhere. Hoping to make it around the 25th May. The only other definite is Chatelherault Classic Automobile Rally which is held some time in August, free to enter and lots to see. I will arrange a club stand if a few of the members are going to attend. If my car is up and running I'm planning on attending Z008, if anyone else is interested we can arrange a convoy down. So post up your thoughts on the above and let me know of any other events you are interested in.

FFS dont be tempted driving it with an engine knock to see Duffers, because if it is serious by the time Andy gets a look at it the engine will probably be scrap. Get it into a local garage, sure they will know next to nothing about a Z but they should be able to tell the difference between a tappet and a big end knock. You say the noise gets worse the warmer the engine gets, to me that sounds bad.... but get a garage to look at it to get there opinion.
