I thought about taxing on line, but because its on a Classic policy it takes an age to be put on the insurance data base. It isnt on yet so I cant tax it online so im stuck without the documents. :mad: fck fck fck..... just hope I get post first thing in the morning.

Been bustin my ass to get my car ready for this weekend, ( Scottish Region meeting and run up to Glencoe) Insured the car on the 9th May, called Carol Nash on the 17th as I hadnt recieved the documents, they checked and found they had been sent out on the 9th... but they sent another set as well. took the car for test the same day and passed. Been at the car every night this week putting the the remaining bits of interior back in it and doing some tidy up work. Iwas really looking forward to having a drive in the car through the week but didnt have the insurance docs to tax it Called Carol Nash wednesday night cause I still hadnt received the documents. theyposted it the next day guaranteed next day delivery before 13:00 so should have been here this morning....... nope.......so chased it up seems there was problems with the flight it was being sent on...... I wont get it today mabey tomorrow......... but most likely monday :mad: bunch of w*nks how can that be guaranteed next day delivery and more to the point what did the f*ckers do with the other 2 letters sent out...... really really pissed of with this Cars just sitting there begging to go out to play but because Royal Mail are now just a bunch of incompetent twats it will have to stay on the drive.

Now thats an offer you cant refuse :) I thought most of these were sold as part of the auto to manual conversions

try checking the hoses first, but it there is a high chance of it being the servo unit itself Seems to be a common problem, there's been a few posts about it. I think the clutch servo assist unit packs in and is expensive to replace. you can blank off the pipe going to the servo, that will give you your brakes back but the clutch peddal will be heavy.

Pablo Meet at Stirling services around 10:30 (gives me time to knock some of the dust off the car). We can have a natter before heading north. I'm not going to book anywhere for a bar meal. with the numbers that are going most places should be able to take us. Thats a toned down version of what I said. Just pissed off that I havent got my insurance docs so couldnt tax it today....but did get it tested in linlithgow so I had a wee run in it at least. probably for the best though as I still have a fair bit to do to it before next weekend, and if it was road legal id just go out for a drive:)

Carol Nash for me :) just took out a new policy with them, they knocked off £25 for being a forum member. Took me down to £275 on a classic policy, 5000ml limit fully comp.

First sighting of my Z on public roads for 18 months. Took it for test today passed with only one advisory (slightly pitted rear brake discs) chuffed as fook. A lot of works went into it but its well worth it. just need to fit all the panels cd etc now..

No they need an emission test, but to non cat limits.
