sasquatchi missing from poll to, as is Anna (if she still has zed, or not  )
  3. No! Selling the car without a duff engine will make a greater loss than the cost of fitting new engine. Hicas arms, rear bushes, tyres, pads and and caliper rebuild are just wear and tear items that all cars require at determined intervals. Its very clean example and you would be hard pressed to find one in as good condition.
  4. The 6000k gives blue tint and is the maximum anyway should fit (otherwise may and just paint your bulbs blue for same affect as those over 6k ;) 6000k looks white with a blue tint. 4100k is for Brightness, 6000k is for Looks(with good brightness), anything over that is for Ricers. :mac1: The blue tint you see on new Bmw's and Police cars..etc is from just a 4100k kit!

    Hi , here you go http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=65901 :)
  6. Making good progress. I have similar plans for mine before summer.
  7. 4100k is best for visibiliy, and is what new cars like Bmw's..etc have fitted ! 6000k still offers good visibility but adds a blue tint. Only cheap non-brand manufactuers make kits over 6000k, and they give off bad glare, reduced light(barely better than standard halogan) and turn everything they light up purple.
  8. If you have aftermarket cat back exhaust, then the restrictors have been removed. They are in the original cat back exhuast at the opening just after the cats.
  9. Same as last time you asked ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=66898
  10. lol, yes and middle lane too ! :p
  11. Im confused. Your selling car, then breaking car, then rebuilding engine...all becuase you have a hesitation that most of us have experience at sometime with out zed's, and which is more than likely something very simple to fix like a coilpack, PTU or just dirty connectors.
  12. I have 235 fronts on mine and no tramlining. Zed has quite sophisticated multi-link arm suspension arrangement, and any tramlining is more than likely down to worn bushes and shocks. had 225's on the front of Bmw and that used to tramline like crazy..had to avoid lane 1 on motorway.
  13. You want to watch out for when she comes home without the big smile on her face ! My Wife did'nt like the zed either at first.....then she started coming to meets, then I let her drive it....now she has her own one! :slap:
  14. Excellent show. The current series is finished (with Kat in) on Discovery time channels now, but they are repeating again.
  15. The replacement face option you went for is fine (if you dont want to see speed over 120mph) but not very popular. Most fit the convertor and place a mph sticker over the kph sign giving them a 180mph speedo. or they fit a UK 180mph speedo cluster. -7 to +7 is Jap imports and is measures in mmHGx100 (or something like that) , the -14 to +14 is in PSI and is fitted to UK cars.
  16. No boost or smoke are turbo failure. It will be an Ignition or fuelling problem. Do an ECU test. Clean connectors..etc Give us more info on the symptons
  17. Stock are hybrids ;) , and all the upgraded turbo's are bigger than stock and spool slower, and you fit Better manifolds to help get the spool closer to stock.
  18. In theory, Auto tubs(smaller) spool slightly quicker and Manual tubs(bigger) give out more power. put it this way...when you upgrade turbo's...do you fit bigger or smaller ;)
  19. ahh..mine too! I thought it was becuases of my change to Trader group but looks like everyone has problem ?
  20. Anything but the stock orange nastyness Orange is EVIL ! 99spec gets my vote.
  21. Jap and Uk are the same Auto is smaller than Manual, they both fit all.
  22. Older than 10 years only require MOT (where things like Foglights come into play)
  23. The Slicktop is very very rare (and only available in SWB), insurers wont recognise the difference in there model lists and the targa's offer same security as regular roof with a sunroof. (with roof in place its just metal with reinforced glass in centre).
  24. Many owners have imported themselves, we also have an Importer in the Trade section. Import-ance http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=122 I would contact them. Imports older than 10 years do not require SVA test.
