engine help
First of all run an ECU test, this will check for error codes and gives you cause of problem. Method 1 : http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html Method 2 : http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html It does sound like possible PTU failure, very common. There is a Improved PTU that can be fitted.

autobox button
You should be parked before getting passengers to do any leaning over of that nature ;) I cant help Im afraid, other than I believe the gearbox ecu wont go into reverse unless car is stationary, even although the lever can be moved to reverse.

retrim advice again
That one :) Wont need to heat it all, just the bits that get tricky. Pk's steamer suggestion sounds good. Cans are clearly marked solved and solvent-free versions. Solvent version is like proper Brown gloopy sticky stuff. Solvent-free is White thinner stuff.

retrim advice again
Brush onto Panel and Vinyl. Use hairdryer to heat it up in places where you need to get around difficult corners, will give it more stretch.
-
retrim advice again
The Non-solvent version is crap. Must get Solvent version. You brush on, leave few minutes, then stick together.

retrim advice again
Evo-stik Instant contact adhesive - Solvent version ! B&Q Sell it. Buy Large tin of the stuff (usually have to take empty tin to counter, and they get full tin out of the safe), and brush on (you'll need paint brush if not got one ;)) I've done 3 cars with it now, and have recomended it to everyone else who has done theirs.

A pillar pod
The A Pillar pods that Zcentre and Chris@getgreddy sell are specially designed for the 300zx, as an entire replacement to the standard pillar, and using the exact same material finish. Pillar pods on ebay that I have seen are just universal stick on plastic pods. I believe There is a difference with LH and RH fitment
