  1. Go for it, if you have experience its not that much different. It will take longer and its always daunting the first time. Just make sure you label up as much as you can, there are LOADS of little vacumn pipes. Removal from top with an engine crane is the normal way.
  2. Yes, its a perishble item, made of rubber that breaks down over time, when open to the elements and at risk of contamination from waste engine fluids.
  3. yes, hicas is part of the reason why the car tries to correct itself but Its also down to the wheelbase vs track. The SX is long and narrow in comparison, so the tail hangs out more easily.... It looks twitchy (tries to correct itself) becuase it has better balance, for handling.
  4. I may come in my zed too ! :) Once I finish of putting engine in, do the manual conversion and spray and fit new front bumper :(
  5. You dont need it, as such - Its for displaying the outside temp on your Climate control display.

    :rofl::rofl:
  7. I think you will find I explained the problem in my previous post :rolleyes: Its to do with the Adrian flux banner being to wide for 1024x768 or lower, combined with a html code problem on the forum that only occurs in IE.
  8. If problem is intermittent, check connectors for corrosion first.
  9. Blimey Karl :eek: :cool: I'll race you Karl in a stock TT............on one condition... .....we dont rev over 4000rpm LOL
  10. I found the problem. Its in IE only, does not affect Firefox. With a 1024z768 screen resolution or smaller when the Adrian flux banner is at the top. Solution - Ditch crappy IE and use a proper browser like Firefox....or force Adrian flux to use a smaller banner. ...or have somebody correct the html code so that the "rides, subcriptions, links, FAQ" button in IE sits below the banner like it does in Firefox.
  11. I've seen plenty of 1989/G registered LWB's...cant remember wethere TT or NA, but definatly LWB...could just be down to good old DVLA and their registration mistakes.
  12. I dont know the area, but Im also not sure a whole new forum section is needed. Most of the regions suffer the same problem, but you dont have to just have a single monthly arranged meet by your REO, you can just as easily arrange your own meets seperatly, with or withouth REO assistance within the region. South west section is a nightmare for this....its 250 miles / 4 hours between the two furtherst Southwest Region points.
  13. Never had the problem. You must have a very small screen resolution setting. Most webstites rely on 1024x768 or higher these days. I use 1280 x 800. You can get away with 800x600 on the majority of sites...but after using a higher screen resolution it just looks big, blocky and horrible to use.
  14. Are you thinking 555 because of the purple tips ? If so it seems that Nissan changed the tip colours over the years.....have seen stock Purples a few times now.
  15. I feel honoured :D lol

    I'd be up for this, love the IOW...great roads, great scenery. Used to drive over there 2 or 3 times a year back when I lived in Berkshire.
  22. £2k tyres ?? erh..no. They are smaller and skinnier than tyres fitted to zed's and therefore will be cheaper. Same for servicing, its just a 2.0 4 cylinder engine so costs will be less. More frequently needed though.
  23. Very sad to hear. RIP :(
