If you work for a bank, please ignore LOL
Went to the bank this afternoon to pay £1200 cash into my account. There was definatly without any doubt £1200 cash there...but when she repeated back to me "ok, so were paying in £2200 cash" I just noded. :nelson: She asked me to sign the receipt thing, and sure enough it had £2200 writted on it. Just checked my bank account, and it shows £2200 paid in! £1000 extra :D Anyone know how likely it is they will realise ? Dont know wether to just leave it and wait and see...but for how long.....perhaps blow it all on a dirty weekend, or order those new coilovers I had my eye on LOL

Exchanging Jap N/A clocks for UK TT clocks!!!
True, the U.S had 160mph clocks.....although it would be extremely unusual to have a set of U.S clocks here in the UK. Any other evidence to suggest they are genuine U.S clocks ? The reason I ask is that its common for people to fit a 160mph face only from the likes of ebay onto there Jap clocks and then perform the resistor mod to calibrate. Are the Boost and Oil pressure gauges in PSI ?

wastegate instead of dump valves???
Wastegate chatter is from cars fitted without Recircs or dumpvalves - Remove the stock recirc valves and connect up remaining pipework and you will get wastegate chatter. However thats not a good thing...the noise you are hearing is the air forcing its way back through the impellors attempting to stall them....it increases lag and can cause a reduction in turbo lifespan, which is why Nissan fitted Recircs as standard (recirculating dump valves (silent dump valves)) Although....different dump valves make different noises..you may be able to find one that can offer a similar sound effect, but I have'nt heard one.

my other pasion
I've briefly had a 200tdi disco, but I do love Range rovers considering a Mk2/P28 Range Rover for daily driver with the Bmw 2.5tdi engine. Paul@swz is mad on his landys, has about a dozen (seriously!) of them - 200tdi's, 300tdis, mk1/Classic Range rovers, Mk2/P38 Range rovers. He also has a V8 Bobtail, jacked up suspension, diff gaurds, TVR camshafts, Harnesses, fuel tank in boot....its an animal, lots of fun.

Top 10 cars you thought you couldn't afford
Hate the contach, hideously ugly - looks like a very poor quality kit car. Love the Diablo though.

Help! Brake Upgrade?
Are the hubs the same size for disc fitment, is the disc the same PCD ? Offset could be an issue. Fitting the calipers is a case of fabricating up suitable brackets, as long as the offset is'nt too far off.

Set of wiesco's £400'ish - job done.

Running on boulders instead on petrol!
Possible oil feed problem apon refitting, if so it would be down to the Mechanics/Garages fault....however you need an independent inspecton to confirm exactly what is wrong and how it happened.

Vibration under braking
The Lack of braking force would point to warped discs.

Confusing wheel question
Depends on the offset ! Marcus, I remember offering up the wheels to the car a while back and it looks like we had room to play with the arch clearance....but without fitting with the spacers Im not sure of a definate answer.

few questions
The guides above should answer most of your questions, although as your looking for a UK car (presumambly for cheaper insurance because of age?) - then you need to inspect for Rust and corrosion on the Sills (especially the rear part before the wheel arch), around the rear arches and around the suspension turrets under the bonnet. UK zeds can suffer quite badly in these areas.

Leather Retrim?
Supply & fit. But not kits, he custom retrims from scratch for every customer.

Leather Retrim?
SWZ have a Retrimmer that works for Rolls Royce that they call in, I've only seen his job on one 300zx so far, but its was perfect quality and he has done many others in the past. He has a portfolio of pictures of all his work. He quoted around £1500 for complete seats and panels, but would be cheaper for SWB. He also does a lot of embossing, and has retrimmed complete Dashboards, impressive job.

Leather Retrim?
Zcentre are pretty expensive in comparison to others that supply kits, but a lot cheaper than having a Professional retrimmer do it all. A lot of us have used Pete at Nippon Auto http://www.nipponauto.co.uk £450 for 2+2 seats in any design/colour. Its a LOT of hard work to DIY fit yourself though.
