  1. Yeh, there is no money in importing them now, except for high spec or late model examples...which are rare anyway.
  2. Im very glad I dont live in London right now ! I travel 7 miles each way everyday too. It takes me less than 10 minutes and costs me £10-£15 fuel a week. No Parking costs and no congestion charges.
  3. Happy Birthday Richard :duffer:
  4. Hapy Birthday :duffer:
  5. that is ****ing rediculous. Is that for all Haulage vehicles or is it based on Co2 levels ?
  6. There is a guy in the states that makes some quality subwoofer boot boxes for the z32, but he wont ship to the U.K :(
  7. £130 for full tints - Good price !
  8. "a new product" are you a Trader ? - There are seperate rules for traders, overseas or not.
  9. Dont have a high opinion of Turtlewax. Cheap generic stuff that does'nt compare imo. Got loads of the stuff, usually bought for me by Relatives at xmas who must see it in special Xmas offers at halfords. Mer is old skool, but too chawky. I use to prep my Dad's Trucks at Show and Shine competitions when I was a kid with the stuff.
  10. I used to use Autoglym before I discovered Meguiar's. Ther Meguiar's Gold class stuff is superb as is the 3 stage stuff  , and they have full detailing products and dozens of other products for Trim, claying, leather, glass...etc Or Zymol if you want to splash the cash - £100 for the starter pack, and £50 for a small tub of wax.
  11. On Straight 4/6's with modern turbo designs, true the difference is minimal once you get into larger setups (and cheaper). But I'd still say that with a V-engine the twin setup will have superior flow, becuase of all the extra pipework needed for a single setup.
  12. What you want is the noise called "wastegate chatter", but is actually nothing to do with the wastegates, its an incorrect term. Turbocargers require wastegates to release the excess boost into the exhaust system. Wastegates dont make the noise. You can get the noise by running without any recircs or dump valves. The noise is from the air being forced backwards through the compressor wheel on lift-off, and is very unhealthy for the turbo !
  13. Do you know what happened to it ?
  14. Yes, but less than half of what they would go for a year ago.
  15. I dunno....2x fully working NA's (1 manual, 1 auto) I was watching on ebay went for less than £1k each last week.
  16. Hesitation. Lots of possible causes - Dirty throttle valves, throttle valves not equally aligned, Vacumn leak, incorrect timing, poor fueling (temp sender, fuel pressure regulator) ...etc
  17. We could have a Banner of text at the top of the forum, under the toolbar, that only registered users see, that could be used to both promote subscribing and letting them know that selling is not allowed.
  18. what I meant was that by stoping them being able to reply to for sale threads, we as subcribed members are missing out on potential customers ! I think it should be set to stop them creating threads in the for sale section, but replying to threads should be ok.
  19. does that mean that currently registered members can not reply to for sale adverts to buy parts listed by subscribed members ?

  21. 1. ISO Connector Adaptor (halfords list them) Aerial Adaptor (halfords list them) New stereo :) 2. How about this : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=106640&highlight=subwoofer 3. No, Alternator and Battery will be fine as long as your not going for a Stupidly high wattage system 4. Depends on budget really. Stick to known brand names. Ideally with a built in amp that puts out 4x40w upwards. Aux or USB input is handy if you want to plug in an Ipod/Mp3 player.
  22. Dont think he came back on here after selling it.
