  1. ok, you've twisted my arm
  2. Welcome Aboard !
  3. Im not sure thats such a good idea, these cars are old now paint had faded or discoloured and painting from the Stock colour codes will not usually match up.
  4. Lets hope not....TT with NA front bumper = Bang. So either way its a Bad purchase.
  5. Both require Microsoft Windows Im afraid.
  6. Cheers bud. Couple of Grand should do it, let me know when you can drop it off :D LOL Might need a hand when it comes to refitting gearbox, will give you a shout if your interested nearer the time. :duffer: :duffer:
  7. No idea if it works but there is no need to go for a higher octane then V-power offers. Any higher and you would need to get the Car mapped for more aggresive timing to make use of the higher octane rating...and then it would detonate like hell whenever you dont use a higher octane rating additive.
  8. There is probably a fetish for that lol
  9. Thanks. The Majority of the work to to get her back on the road is done, main things now are purchase and fitting of Clutch and flywheel and front bumper....then of too Bodyshop..and MoT. Plus a few other minor bits and pieces. Its been a long time since I've had my own Zed to drive, I feel quite desperate to get her going. Progress has been relatively slow since I got her because of lack of time....but I've recently lost my job so now I have the time and not the money :slap:
  10. Sorry, that is quite funny though. At least its nothing expensive to fix !!
  11. Start her up from cold and Just bounce her off the rev limiter for couple of mins, should be nice and toasty then :D
  12. Congrats. If you were choosing between a TT Coupe or the S2000 I would of been in favour of the Z32, but for open top motoring the S2000 is more of a sports car than the Z32 vert NA. Enjoy :)
  13. Im pretty sure Ztech are currently up and running, there was a post on here with talk of some having visted the new ztech recently. SWZ are currently not taking any new job bookings.
  14. Ride height is concerning me, the weight reductions really show, Still has gearbox and exhausts to be fitted, but they are not going to lower the hieght much. Might have to get Coilovers sooner than I thought
  15. Wont fit 2+2 .... p.s I;ve been searching for a SWB drivers window for the past 6 months !! but managed to sort one out last week. Whats that saying about buses..
  16. I love the colour change from Light to dark it has on it. Its hard to catch on Camera...and interstingly my Camera phone pics (above) can catch it better in some ways than my expensive DSLR camera :slap: Although currently Im not 100% sure she is definatly Bayside blue. Previous owner told me it was 350z Daytona blue, but thats a much darker shade, and it looked a lot more like Bayside. But I had some Bayside blue paint mixed up and it was a lighter shade without as much of a colour change in it....but then it was mixed by a monkey at Halfords. I will know for definate when she goes to the bodyshop.
  17. There are no straight drop-in fitment. Any aftermarket seat you buy will require custom fabricting it to either the existing seat subframes or to custom mounts. If I was'nt building my car for Track use (they weigh over 50kg together) I would stick to retrimmed stock electric seats, they are a nice design and look great with a proper retrim.
  18. Would be great to a have a Retrimmer as a Club trader. Retrimming is popular and its not always easy finding a retrimmer you can rely on for quality workmanship. Interested to see some portfolio pics for examples of your companies work.
  19. Having the same Pad fitment would indicate the same caliper to me, just with different mounts. Larger disc would be of a benefit.
  20. Ever since I first got the Slicktop it has lived in one of the Workshops at SWZ Performance. Paul@SWZ kindly allowed me to work on her there with access to all the power tools, ramps.......and advice I needed. Yesterday I decided to bring her home for the first time. Still has work outstanding before its on the road but this way I get to tinker away in my garage without having to travel up to SWZ each time. Decided to give her a quick wash, 9 months of Dust and grime was not pretty. I've lived in my current house for about 7 months now, and In all this time I've only ever said hello in passing to the neighbours in our street....But within 10mins of Pulling the Zed out of the garage I had 3 differnent neighbours crowding around asking all sorts of questions and handing out complements, and even got invited down the Local pub with them.........one of the great joys of Zed ownership  Some pic whoring..... oh..and I also just removed the Spoiler, hence the black glue stuff still on there.
  21. Yep I'd go with HID's first. Wont regret it. re: Windscreen - under £100...is that your insurance excess ? I have a lengthy list of items I still need to purchase for the Slicky before she can go on the road.....all adding up to WAY more than I have right now  Its an NA !
  22. I see where your coming from Alan, its the same for Cornwall, its always difficult for members living in the outer areas of the region.... but then 10 out of 12 (80-85%) of meets being held south of the M4 is becuase thats the percentage of the Region that is south of the M4 so I dont think its unfair. A Bristol meet is a fairly northern SW meet and is closer to Glouc than a lot of those that are likely to attend. Same for the 2 upcoming Castle Combe meets. Would be good to get a meet up that way soon though and I'd love to see another Glouc meet similar to the "famous" ross-on-wye meet. Its about an Hour from me but 2 hours from Lisaf, wow300, RedZed..etc
