  2. Kind of, thanks, I've seen quite a few Dyno runs for the 530bb in the U.S but its probably best not to pay too much attention to U.S Bhp figures.
  3. Thanks, what about the spoiler pics though ? ;)
  4. How much does it weigh ?
  5. They will fit under the nose panel if you have aftermarket filter. Mine are mounted under headlights becuase I took them out to clean the insides at same time.
  6. Tax or Insurance not required if your bringing on trailer. Normal Road Insurance is not valid on the track. I've personally not seen or heard of anyone purchasing additional track insurance for the day.....but its always a good idea. Might look into it myself. In regards to noise levels....At the Japfest events you see all sorts of Modified Jap cars on the track every year, most zed's have no problem but I have seen a couple turned away before (MickeyB was one with a 102db recording, I think he had a straight through Alunox decatted custom setup) ...
  7. Standard mirrors are usefull for a widearch in the same way whiskers are for Cats ! When squeezing through a gap, If they touch then you know the rear wont fit through either LOL
  8. It says 100db on the Website, but have sent the organiser an email to confirm...
  9. Castle combe Race circuit in Wiltshite are holding a Performance car action Event on April 19th. We are having a 300zx.co.uk Club stand and there are Track sessions available. Castle combe is located near the South West/South central border not far from the M4 motorway. Should be a good day out, with many other clubs attending and plenty of Trade stands, wether your after some track action or would prefer to spectate. A kind of japfest event....but errr not just Jap cars :D http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=106559
  10. 100 dba, which I think was same as previous Japfest days
  11. Right, they have space for us on a Club stand! Track time is 15mins. We can purchase a Pack of 6 track sessions for £100, additional track time is £20 per 15mins in advance (£30 per 15mins if booked on the day). We get 12 free admission passes as a club, additional tickets are £8 per person. I will use the 12 free passes to bring the final cost down for all, so I can calculate final costs once we know numbers attending. Please indicate how many admission tickets required and if you would like track time. _______________________________________________ Legrath - 2 admission , 2 track time
  12. Do we have any Dyno printouts for a Z32 in the UK with the 530bb turbos ?
  13. From the front/side I still vote no spoiler. Although as somebody said above a lower mid-level spoiler would look good too.
  14. In that case thats a good buy. Thats Discovery 200tdi money, and I'd say as a 4x4 for the road the Shogun is better and well worth it !
  15. Have driven one around in one a few times. Was'nt particualy impressed, quite crude and utliterian. I think one of the engines is known for head gasket issues...possibly the 2.8td ? Not sure what sort of money they fetch these days, but if there anything around £3-£5k then the P38 Range Rover is a million times better in every way for the money. I suspect they are worth a lot less than that though, without checking.
  16. doh...hope it was cheap/free Pete.
  17. yep, same fitment.
  18. Sounds like your shocks were at the end of there life....tbh most Z32's will be the same unless there history of them being replaced. They will reduce the shocks lifespan though because of the harder spring rates. If your going to change the rears then best change the fronts too You can get a Set of KYB AGX adjustable for the price of a new set of standards...or the KYB GR's for less. Both offer improved damping over stock.

Take a look at the SPL and Daytona Racing videos that I've posted on here for Z32 inspiration
  20. Yep, just unscrews anti-clockwise......usually quite easily..but have had to cut a couple off before. I think that sometimes previous owners must glue them on to stop them moving.
  21. I dont like most Aftermarket mirror choices but the Veilside/Ganador I do. Nice design, good quality, smaller than the slightly too large standard mirrors but still have good rear view.
  22. Goodyear F1 have always been the one of the top rated Perfomance tyre choices and by far the most popular. Would welcome some suggestions from somebody in the tyre trade though.
