  1. Sh*t !! sorry to hear Marcus. Scum
  2. One of the TVR's or XKR - depending on wether you want a brutal or soft driving experience. But please don't let an ex, have such a life changing affect on your life. You are your own person, you were here before you knew her and no reason you cant be here after !
  3. Rear lights bulb out sensor unit or the Electric Aerial delay unit.....depending on which box you mean.
  4. LOL pretty sure I could find at least a dozen "Funky'isms" from you too Ian, inc against the skyline ;)
  5. I struggle to find anything nice to say about the outside too.
  6. 78 weeks ! !!?! Have you tried falken themselves, they have an online order website
  7. If it was just "looks" the R8 might my vote, but only just, overall the GTR is a much better car and I think it looks great anyway
  8. Gtr ! no contest
  9. From about 94 onwards nissan cut costs on things like Sound insulation and previously standard equipment starting to become optional extras. Pretty sure that the Digital Auto climate control was still available on the later cars, but they made it an optional extra. IMO The Manual controls while not attractive are much better to use that the S1 Digital controls....but the S2 digital controls are the best of both.
  10. I would aim for a wider track, so you want to alter the offset depending on the width of the wheels to push them out towards the aches more, stock wheels sit too far in. Wider track will improve grip, stability and looks much better.
  11. Standard UK wheels are 7.5 front and 8.5 rear The most popular aftermarket fitment would be 8 - 8.5 front and 9 to 9.5 rear. Not sure on stock offsest, around -35 . Stock wheels sit too far into the arches anyway, ideally you want to alter the offset to push them out towards the arches, but if you go too far they will rub.
  12. Stick with stock compression IMO (and compensate for any head skimmed as Jimmer mentioned) unless your looking to run silly boost levels (2 bar / 25psi+) Lowering the compression will allow you to run high boost levels with reduced chance of detonation but at the sacrifice of response and low rpm power/torque.
  13. Wife spotted a grey 300zx in Taunton yesterday. She said it had standard looking rear lights, that lit up "round" when they came on  However, despite her being around these cars for 4 or so years now, and even owning one for a year herself....she may be completely mistaken !! Last week she told me she had seen one go past us on the motorway as I was joining the slip road but I didn't spot it......so I raced ahead for a good 15 mins at a brisk pace before finally catching up to the.......GTO :slap:
  14. Wish I could swap your list for my List Si !!
  15. Yes, but redwine300 is talking about replcing the entire floorpan.
  16. who was/is the "ginger boy" ?
  17. The aicon box is the one immediatly above the ECU (the blower is to its left). The drain pipe is black and come from the back of the unit and down behind ecu and out through a hole in the bulkhead.
  18. usually a matrix fault but Check the aircon unit drain in passenger footwell, it has a rubber drain tube that should go out through the bulkhead
  19. Yep, you;ll get Rolling LWB shells for next to nothing and even SWB shells from about £500
  20. :slap: Should of made him redo them there and then.
  21. Held in at each corner by 12mm nuts and bolts accessed from underneath. You can undo the inner 2 via the nose panel, and the other 2 via the Indicator hole and wing (remove wheelarch plastic shields).
  22. I stripped my lights with those intentions, but had trouble sourcing the correct paint at the time :( , so just ended up cleaning and putting them back together in the end.
