So much to do!

I've just figured out what I want to do to my Z before the Summer and it makes me depressed.

Run new speaker cables,

Run amp cables

Disassemble doors and sound deaden.

Take off window runners, clean and re-grease

Install 2din headunit properly

Make sub box

Finish modifying rear speaker boxes

Trim front seats

Refit interior

Refurb nearside front wheel (minor scratching)

Z33 brake disk conversion with matching grooved disks front/rear

Install new shocks, springs, adjustable camber/tension rods

Reset steering boss and get 4wheel laser tracking

Get chip on spoiler sorted

Get T-top roof pillars painted gloss black

Get wheel spacers for the front

Do another service, including TX fluid and brake fluid replacement.

Get rear screen lightly tinted

Get UK spec clocks and fit chrome dial surrounds

Fit airbag model cruise control paddle replacing series 1 steering wheel controls.

Somehow I dunno if I'll be able to get it done. Unfortunately, I don't have a double garage, so doing work on the interior is a pain if it's pissing down, which, at this time of the year, it mostly is. Then there's the winging girlfriend who I can't leave to watch me tinker about with my car as she gets bored. Then there's the fact that it's already nearly April!!

I am just hoping I get this job I applied for as I'll take all the holiday off in my current job giving me 3 weeks to piss about with the car! LOL

Thing that pisses me off is that I have ALL the new bits, but just don't have enough time! Can't wait for the clocks to go forward an hour!!!!

I bet 1/2 of those are other people's cars!

I considered taxing it last week, cause I'm missing driving it, but I can't go driving around in a car with no interior. Feels awful and looks terrible.

lets hope you get that new job Si!

Have you had the presentation yet? How did it go?

I've got all the bits though. I'm ok for cash at the moment. It's just the time!! I want to do a driving holiday this year and drive down to the South of France...or at least the West coast. Want the car to be 100% as I want it!

Unfortunately I booked/paid for a holiday to Turkey before I knew of the dates. I'm gutted. :(

well if you are doing it all yourself, much respect, can not fault you, im hoping to do some changes to my car, with my own fair hands, whether it enhances pride of ownership is a different matter

Si, they are 100% other peoples cars mate  Mine should hopefully be getting a look at the workshop towards the end of this year ready to rear its ugly (rusty :D ) head again in 2009 :)

Jimmer's helping me with some of it. But most of it is just hours I need to put in. I quite enjoy doing it. It's just a slow process as I want everything to be right first time so that I don't have to pull it apart again to add more stuff or fix something. Want it to all be fitted and have that BMW door clunk and sound quality from the stereo, want that perfect stance.

Here's a tip Si, buy Maddie a weekend in a health Spa - peace for a weekend and mucho time to work on the Z :D ;)

For a start, you'd need a lot longer than a weekend. Secondly, I work on them full time so I don't have a problem  :D ;)

matter of opinion and on that note, ill stop spamming the thread lol
