  2. Don't buy plastic and buy the way it goes on the barrel. I got a pair made from aluminium from this seller on ebay, it appears he sold them all but must be worth a message to him. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-brand-new-lock-hanger-mech-/131097293346?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=YLi%252B5%252F7vGCUYPOJl7eYlc62RWGE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  3. I've always had a mat clip for the drivers side and when I had the seats out a while ago I spotted there was a hole in the floor also to take the plastic fastener for it on the passenger side, it was just hidden under a bit of carpet, this now carefully cut away to reveal. Having looked without joy for a mat clip on a Z in a scrapyard near me I got onto Baz and he kindly sent me one. So wire brushed back, primed and then gloss redded to match other small red bits here and there in the cabin, I fit today - so pic shows all fit and ready for the mat to be offered on. Whilst at the scrapyard I picked up all four of the rear nut plastic covers and with an extra washer on the front bolts to just space them back a fraction and then a tiny blob of hot glue, the covers go on just fine :thumbup1:.
  4. I shall and I'll even finish off the build for you :tongue_smilie:.
  5. A little update to this, I am booked in at Zee Dents this coming Monday, the plan is to work together and fit all these goodies mentioned in this thread from 10am, I will also be there on the Tuesday as well, a sort of contingency day if you like. Of course lots of pics will be taken along with coffee and cake consumed......can't wait :sweatdrop:.
  6. I have no shroud on my aftermarket rad and the temp on mine stays rock solid at 180f which is about 82c. I do have a cooling panel and whether fit or not makes no significant difference.
  7. You put down in a post what we were all thinking :smartass:.
  8. If only.......mmmmmm.......if only :blushing:.
  9. Ditto, but further up in sunny Lancs :thumbup1:.
  10. Email sent to Derek .
  11. You could see if the boost solenoid is there - near the small engine fuse box drivers side near the bulkhead ?
  12. Don't think oil pressure gauge was ever removed, I have one now but my 94 S4 out of the factory didn't have a boost gauge.
  13. He couldn't give them away at JAE13 .
  14. Best of luck, however vinyl wrap is not a testable item so you'll be ok there !!
  15. Following on from my post 5, I didn't pop down on the 20th I did though on the 23rd but it failed..............boo hoo !!! HC emissions were too high, exceeding the 1200 limit, this is down to it not running on all 6 which is an intermittant fault I have so I basically took a chance, also failed on dipped lights were both too high. Been advised on front shock bushes as well, these will be sorted in July. Lights were soon adjusted down a fraction which just left me hoping one day it'll start and be running right which as happened before, so started it today and it ran awful, I removed this and that, wiggled here and there and all of a sudden it was running sweet so without turning off I went for the re test, HC emissions are now at 938ppm....................so I have my 12 and half month ticket now :cool3:. EDIT : Not a mention of the lights being the HID type.
  16. Haha reem indeed.........I think they're rad dude !! Enough of this southern poncy language, number stored and I will continue liaising via text/phone.
  17. What tail lights have you got ? The reason I ask is I can chrome wrap the 4 x chambers on the reverse panel making it more 99 spec but not if your tails are tango ? This will add to cost but roughly we're around £45.00. EDIT : Why are you so hell bent on the green ?
  18. The green OEM panel illumination is subtle, I can replicate this and make it red when off just like 99 spec version :thumbup1:. Here is a pic on my experimental panel, you will see I have the 3 red and the first zero is green, the next zero is just clear, I also have blue and cream so you could in theory have them all multi coloured !! The illumination in your case is green and will be the insides just like Altia ones.
  19. I think they're hit rather than miss, Zee Dent fit mine :thumbup1:. Budget for another 20% in duty/vat/clearance fee, etc.
  20. I will look into that remit as I think it may be possible. There is no room inside for leds or smd strips, an EL sheet is used.
  21. Well I can only say I have the exact same and never had a problem and I regularly have around 20psi :thumbup1:.
  22. I have these Brembos fit behind my 17's, always believed they are from an Evo 8, 25mm hubcentrics used for clearance :thumbup1:.
  23. No guys is inverter is buzzing and in my experience these big bulky OE ones if you like do not fail, it'll be your sheet that's given up the ghost. Presume it was green ? I can replace like for like but would you rather have it look facelift model red and to light up red ?
  24. I read you were painting it last night and having just got up off my chair I can now post up my response.....at long last !!! I too am going away next week......where are you going Graham ?
