1994 LWB Import TT HICAS questions
Mine isn't connected up correctly at the boss, I believe this is why my HICAS light comes on after about 30 mins of driving which is in fact HICAS off, until I turn off and on and then the process starts again. So I wouldn't necessarily say that you're light will come on immediately as mine doesn't seem to :thumbup1:

Side light help
This is the unit talked about above that as you can see as the area that needs dremelling out so you can put in a T10 bulb holder. Yours as far as I can see cannot be done  These next two pics are my old ones and as you can see have two perfect full size bulb holders, I was going to keep but as you've given me some rep :cool3: I will sell them but will be £25.00 delivered as they are perfect, will include the sidelight bulb holders you can see plus short loom and plug, also a fancy smd white bulb will be left in each, these are the ones in my sig pic. FYI, it is possible to open these up and remove the orange reflector although it never bothered me, you would then fit an amber bulb as opposed to a clear one for your winker.

2-3k rpm engine lag ?
Could well be the chip cos as you say you put one in and then you started to have issues, can you borrow another would be the obvious way forward. Also, have you a boost controller?

Wiring a start button
What is the point of putting the key in and turning it to acc, then pressing a seperate button for it to turn over? How do you turn it off...use the key by any chance :hammer: Don't get me wrong, I am all for gimmicks and uniqueness but fail to see the attraction of this or am I missing something :confused1:

Side light help
The write up doesn't mention or use a bulb holder, so just a quick look on ebay something like this is what's required, drill out say a 14mm hole and then dremel out the notches so this bulb holder will twist and lock in securely in your indicator unit :cool3: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pcs-T10-W5W-1210-1206-5050-LED-SMD-Plug-in-Light-Bulb-Extension-Socket-Holder-/170794740187?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27c428e9db And for a bulb I currently have these fitted, buy a few extra then you have spares http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-T10-W5W-501-20-SMD-LED-194-168-White-Car-Side-Interior-Wedge-Light-Bulb-Lamp-/300777311897?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4607b98e99

Side light help
A lot of us will have complete fog light units with perfectly good T10 bulb holders in them, I for instance have about 4, you will just need to solder the blue and black wires onto yours. Sidelights are not that pleasing to the eye in the centre ish of the bumper, why not ditch this location and locate sidelights in the indicator lense unit where a spot is already there for this purpose? Look at my sig below, just use your fogs for exactly that :cool3:

99 Spec Rear lights..confused
Nice work, I have a plan for a look like this, I will get to work, does not include the led strips though but they look very nice, fills the back of each diffuser evenly :cool3: Tell me though Gerry, how do you intend to make the brake lights brighter than the tails :confused1: Some led strips are brighter than others, this I know, of course you must obtain the correct brightness for both to be fully satisfied :)
