  3. I was the furthest traveled again this year but sadly without my zed so missed out on a trophy on that one. But leaving kettering at 2pm and arriving back at 8:30pm was fairly a quick run back for me. I'd just like to say had a great time and thanks to all who attented and made it what it was ! cheers
  4. 'Steve J' will now be known as 'Onslow'
  5. I have created this thread as I believe we should have a log of name changes when requested! We shall list the members new name here along with his previous name. Thanks. JaiKai
  6. Really ! Fook, I thought he was joking !
  7. Must have pulled him for having primer for the third year running !
  8. Arrived onsite at 9:30 with Bruce !
  9. Looks like my luck ran out again ! Bloody garage can't do my wheel alignment now as they now say its too complicated and never booked enough time in for it. So I wont be attending JAE this year after all with the zed. But that's not stopping me, bags are packs and currently on the road and joining up with Bruce in Blackpool then be heading down either by tonight or early tomorrow !
  10. Booked in for a 4 wheel alignment tomorrow morning, packing my stuff tonight so i'm ready but its an 8 hour drive so wont get there till very late and that doesn't leave much time to setup our tents at night. depending when it gets complete and i get a move on tomorrow, meeting up with bruce at preston and if its too late i'll just stay the night there and make an early start on friday morning. what time does the camp shut for entry ?
  11. And now TAXED too ! Just need 4 wheel alignment as the backend gets more action when sliding in and out than the ladies standing at the corner of sauchie hall street in glasgow !
  12. I know; i mind only buying it off him for less than £45 at one point !
  13. saying that just checked out there prices and they've doubled since i lost bought one ! http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=171&category_id=73&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7
  14. There are nasty ones on ebay which i dont personally think work to great but i highly recomend the zcentre one. Bit more expensive but more reliable.
  15. What series zed do you have as the clocks have various designs at the back ! But all connections can be attached directly without cutting into tracks.
  16. Just dropped the zed in for its mot, fingers crossed !
  17. Nearly forgot about this one and Gary missed it as its likely not set in your profile yet ! Anyways Happy Birthday Buddy !!
  18. Exactly ! The cutting torch worked and I'll be fitting the parts tomorrow although they are slightly damaged. Luckily not enough to be in usable so they will do for now !
  19. Well second attempt was today and i made it all the way to see Jim! Found what i needed and with the help oh him we used a torch to cut at the bits required. Got back just before 8pm tonight and set about the zed with a torch and some spanners with very succesfull results. Only managed to work on the fronts tonight but i believe the backs are strong enough to get me through the mot then tomorrow after work i can again insert the bits needed on the rear hubs. In the end these two wee buggers below were the cause of all my troubles :
  20. Just buy a new toad, really easy to install and setup, you will just need to get the wiring certified to get your certificate for insurance.
