  1. i'll likely order these in from concept next week. Although they don't list the rears do they have similar pipes ?
  2. But saying that what does UK cars do for a rear fog switch ? Do they just sacrifice not having front fogs ?
  3. I would say its a no purely for the reason Andy says above !
  4. Already pm'd mike and he cant get the small copper bits and recommended getting them made. But strapped for cash and likely wont be getting a garage to make them so a direct fit kit would be best so I can do them myself.
  5. reading the full description they say you get what's in the pic which is wrong as that shows hoses that are nothing to do with a zed.
  6. That looks a good set that but as you say I think its a generic pic so be sure to check with the seller exactly what you get with it as you may find 1/2 of it wont fit the zed.
  7. Should have my new brake callipers here by Wednesday and as I'm buying new braided hoses can the hoses plug directly into the standard aluminium callipers or do they still need that small piece of copper pipe ? Also what's the best kind of braided hoses recommended ?
  8. oil cooler and depending if your zed was a uk gearbox box cooler in front of that.
  9. Not the easiest to move it at the moment.
  10. I'm now thinking its exactly the issue and its likely air locked. At the garage the zed sits on a slight slope so that wont help. I could jack her up at the front end and put her on axle stands and then refill the coolant.
  11. How would I test it properly before putting it back in ? And can you recommend a best practise for filling the system back up with coolant ? Cheers
  12. Still at home so that would be a no.
  13. Another update on my build. Managed to get the timing sorted to about 15 BTC after she warmed up but luckily I had consult running as the temp shot up to nearly 90 and kept rising so I quickly turned the engine off to examine what was up. Well the new radiator was stone cold and the and the polished water pipes were scolding. Not good - I stripped the whole front end again and removed the water stat to take home and test. 1 boiled kettle later you can see that the valve opens as it should : So was the issue a airlock in the system or something worse ? Also how can I tell that the water pump is working ?
  14. Finally found one and heading to the garage now. But can anyone tell me how to time a auto ? As conzult says the timing is about 19 is this what I time it too ? Or do I just do it to 15, mind when I put it into gear the timing changes. So do I need someone to sit in the car with it in gear as I time it ?
  15. Just about to head to the garage to sort the interior.
  16. Feel free to post up some pics.
  17. Yeh, the van is booked and should be down midday. :)
  18. They are cheap but was trying to get the job done over the weekend. So many issues with the engine i wanted to work on it today or tomorrow.
  19. Just a loop, as my boss that i bought from zcentre had a plug with a loop on white and yellow, never had a resistor on mine.
  20. they are brand new bosch o2 sensors.
  21. Looking for a replacement clock shroud. This is the black plastic piece that fits over the clock.
  22. Also on the consult screen why is the o2 readings so low?
  23. The timing does change to 15 when i put it into gear. But as i have a smoking and oil leak and not running the engine for that long to get it upto full temp.
  24. And it was an auto but now a manual.
  25. Standard but its been rebuilt by Lee Dent.
