  1. There at my work unit. Try get some pics tomorrow.
  2. Actually now I look at it I would say its a series 3. Series 4 never had boost gauge, and they are very hard to find with cruise even in an auto. Also if its was a series 4 it would have an airbag and cruise stalk on the left rather than on the wheel. Anybody notice the steering wheel has an embossed groove on it, never seen that before.
  3. confirmed, its the series 4 table top spoiler, my zed and a few of my past zeds have had them.
  4. Yeh, I actually have a few spare, likely could do one £60 posted
  5. Swapped the whole clock unit likely for one that had the boost gauge. There's a few various designs I've noticed over the years of the carcus of the clocks.
  6. I've got one and its never had any issues, currently off the old purple zed and ready to fit to the new one.
  7. Just prior to xmas I picked up a full set of K-Sport big brakes. Don't have a picture as they are hidden in the garage away from the wife :)
  8. def, i'm up for it.
  9. True, And if you look at the digital mapping of faces in the movie that can be done now easily aswell as full CGI faces.
  10. Should be ok, as the pads have slots in them so they don't bend or flatten the sills. Otherwise I would never have done it that way.
  11. Here's another pic to give you an idea of where to look for it. Its attached to the same loom as the maf but further up.
  12. Never knew this existed or is this just on a series 4 zed ? Found it hidden under the front right of the air filter nose panel. Its a stock part but don't remember seeing it on my other zeds.
  13. Yeh, Found a how to thread made by Jeff. Just need to find a donor zed to remove one from.
  14. looking for a replacement Battery Tray and Support bracket to replace the following. This is partially spot welded in so a grinder may be required to remove it properly.
  15. So, Part of my rebuild I discover this : I can see that the left side can be unbolted but is the rest of it welded in ? I've not attempted to unbolt it just yet but by the looks of it i'm going to need a replacement and patch up the bits below too.
  16. Stripped out all the old AC parts today. Even though I've done all this on my previous build its still surprises me how much space this all takes up.
  17. Generally the engine looks clean enough, and there was an oil leak coming from the lower end of the sump seal so after its on the engine stand and stripped a bit i'll open her up and inspect and reseal it again with fresh sealant.
  18. Like my old zed i'm planning to remove all the old AC parts as I doubt i'll ever use them, so eventually out comes all the pipes, compressor and AC radiator & fan.
  19. Few inner engine bay shots and discovered the start of corrosion under the battery area. Hopefully caught it on time and its only surface paint.
  20. Yeh, About 4000sft - roughly.
  21. End of Feb / March or sooner if a slot opens up in the garage.
  22. Engine is now out.
  23. Old gearbox Looking as if its a crime scene : Apart from the fluid spillage its actually in really good condition.
  24. After the box was out I moved on to the engine area again. After draining some fluids the bonnet was off, radiator out and started on the fuel pipes.
