  1. Clutch Pedal finally fitted and boy it was a bitch to do; had to remove the support bar and the aircon ecu to get the booster part in then relocated a few cabled to fit the pedal.
  2. Bit of a delayed update but last weekend I rebuilt the Targas. This weekend I plan to get the clutch pedal done and then refit the dash.
  3. Happy Birthday Simon, hope you had an easy day.
  4. go for it !
  5. Fine for any weekend.
  6. Excellent, ready when you are!
  7. Time to plan the interior but i'll be needing a few replacement panels before I start. Looks like when the interior was up the loft the rear side panels have decided to shrink at the top. My first thought was just to do the full thing in Alcantara as close to the original oem design but that means I now require two panels with perfect undamaged panels. I would like all the panels to match so I was thinking to swap things about do black leather on all the lower panels and alcantara on the upper parts, but that would mean leather all the way round and under the dash which i'm not sure on. The plastic trim on the door cards are reasonable quality . Has anyone seen the rear panels redone top and bottom ? Any examples or ideas I could think on.
  8. Hi Ryan, You posted this in a locked section that's needs to be approved so I've moved the post out so that people can see it. Lee
  9. Hi all, As you likely have all noticed we had some major downtime over the weekend which was required to do some maintenance. If you haven't already figured it out the maintenance was to move web host and the decision to move was purely because of the ever rising costs with our old host Vidahost which increased another 15% this year. My own company Jas Young Ltd which only started last November does web hosting and various IT services and I wanted to give the club so much more than I do now so I promised a 20% saving if the club voted to use my services. I can guarantee that you are all in safe hands and the clubs server is independent and not shared with anybody. I've looked after this club since January 2012 and since then we have upgraded, modernised and got with the times so to speak. Hopefully within the next 6 months the club will be doing a major upgrade once again which will bring in new roles to fill. The design will stay fairly similar to what we have but a few things may move about. The biggest change being the design of a front webpage which will be taken care of by a committee / sub group. I hope you are already seeing the benefits of the new server we have moved to and in general let me know your thoughts. Regards Lee
  10. Also may just be a placebo but does the site feel more responsive ? Pages are loading a little faster.
  11. Thanks, Some people may still be getting the old site which shows the offline status. If I view the site on my phone I still get the old site but my pc now shows the new one.
  12. lol, Some of us are still locked out, i'm using a proxy server to login as my connection still shows the old server.
  13. And done, Just little over an hour to backup and restore the system. Now we just need to wait for the world wide web to play catch-up. :)
  14. Happy Birthday Craig, all the best.
  15. Problem is there is so much shit talk from you all that it would take longer to manually erase it.
  16. No worries. We are actually moving host and i'm running a full backup now. The bit that takes ages is the TTL of the name servers after we change them. The internet is heavily cached which improves performance but if you need make a big change then it is 4 - 6 hours or more before all ISP's pick up the new DNS servers. I'll make the change at 8PM on the old server then do a database export of the site. Can't do it live as any changes made after the database is backed up will be forever lost on the new server.
  17. Hi all, Just to let everyone know that from 8PM onwards tonight the forum will be going through some scheduled maintenance. Nothing to worry about really as no front end changes to the way the site functions will be done. Due to the way various service providers DNS servers caches IP addresses over the internet the site may appear off line. This is out of our control but should be resolves within 4 - 6 hours. Regards Lee
  18. I'm up for it :)
  19. Up close its filthy. Needs a good polish.
  20. Getting there.
  21. Boot interior trims now fitted along with the tailgate trims.
  22. The wife says hi !
  23. Interior wise my daughter gave a helping hand to clean the dust off all the parts. Reg plate fitted and from the front it looks like I have a working zed. All but an engine under that bonnet.
  24. I wanted to finish off the front side so I bolted on the bumper and fitted all the lights. Looking more like a zed now.
  25. Working on my zed today and for the first time in 6 months it was warm enough so i pushed the zed out to get some sun.
