  2. hmm is chat down? i got booted, then it was saying i was still logged in, and now the page just sits on the loading screen with 0%
  3. Might come in handy for anyone thinking of building carputer. Click ME
  4. When storing army vehicles it was common practice to top the oil in the engine to the top, this kept everything lubed up, then when they came out of storage, they would be drained and have a filter and fresh oil put in. if your planning on storing it again, id top it up, keep everything nice and lubed. then (put a big fapping note on your engine saying about the oil just in case you forget) drain it out give it a new filter and oil change. and start her up. But at the moment, id change oil and filter. least you can coat some of the engine parts with some oil before the oil pump gets going. but you should be alright.
  5. I like that steering wheel :D and i love them dials too, where did you get the inlay for them from? PS it does look nice with the OEM gear stick.
  6. Phone your closest Nissan dealer, well the one your going to visit for the part, they call it a "spigot bearing" but service manual calls it a pilot bearing, as long as you state the year and the model (turbo / non turbo) and that its for a manual, they might have to order it in like they did with mine, i only got mine last week at the lovely price of £4.95 (VAT included) Also had the opportunity to have a oogle over a brand new 370Z GT ultimate they just had in, it was that new it still had all the protective plastic sheets over the bonnet / interior. :)
  7. you will also need to get the old auto torque converter spigot out of the end of the crank shaft, and replace it with a pilot bushing (around £5 from Nissan)
  8. Im already married matey, so shes all yours, (and no, im not married to her in that lovely photo of yours) So be my guest lol

  11. go for a sard sport ex induction kit (Air filter), get the funnel with it and you can have 3 different configurations depending on what you use your car for. street / track / race set up
  12. have you even seen my car? its probably been slated before, and probably still is. the guy who put that car for sale really doesn't care about the car. its even got the stone holes in the windows to prove it. If someone brought that car and then logged on here. they will say "hi all, this is my new ride" and they will still get the same banta. its the way it goes. some will say they like this and that, and nicci will still call it girly. I will still say its horrible in that purple, and someone else will still mention the spoiler. as stated already, regardless, its all personal opinion, and if you don't like people doing it, then the web really is the wrong place to be. We are not bashing or doing personal attacks on the person, we are commenting on the car. you will not please everyone all the time, and anyone who thinks other wise lives in a dream world.
  13. I have a JDM unfortunately its in need of some attention matey, doesn't seem to of been looked after that well before i got it, I've only driven it 18miles so far, and already had to do an engine change. my exhaust is nice and quite until you accelerate lol
  14. This is a forum, we have opinions, and opinions get aired. we are not putting anyone's Zed down, we are just voicing our opinion, and as they differ between people, what someone likes, someone else positively hates. So, if someone said its horrible then that is their opinion, this doesn't reflect the whole of the Zed community, just THAT person. I'm sure there will be lots of people who view that car and think its pig ugly, but then there will be those who think its the best thing that's happened to a Zed. Its not a personal attack against the owner. its just an observation and response.
  15. im in the chat room, someone hurry, stellaZ butt naked in here lol
  16. Blokes can multitask too, we can :xxx: and turn the page ;) Hi babes
  17. Gary that is one seriously rust free underside you have there, well done
  18. This is true, but unfortunately i need to lol, as my car is stuck outside at the moment. need to get everything done under it before i put it back in the garage. as its very confined
  19. :hyper:Yay, gearbox is back on, prop shaft up and installed, would still be out working if the light hadn't of failed on me grrr. jobs for tomorrow, bolting everything back together, plugging stuff in, exhaust on, and off the ramps, wooohooooo:dance::dance:
  20. dunno, but I've got japspeed decat pipes, mounted to mongoose oval rear boxes, and it sounded like a nas car before it went bang. Though as the Zed isn't renown for its sound proofing inside the vehicle, for get hearing your passengers and the radio unless its turned waaaay up lol

  22. Harland and wolff crane, that's the dock Titanic and Britannic and Olympic were built at. nice picture of your Zed there matey
  23. Only in the my rides section, looks a stunner if you didn't know about the rust. Things like wings / bonnet / boot lid can all be salvaged from his shell. seats, any internal items that need changing over, like dash board / carpets steering wheel, can all be moved, front bumper, rear bumper, and wide arches might all be able to be saved with some careful removal. The rear might need to be resprayed If the doors are OK as well, they can be rescued and put on, this would leave just the frame it self / rear arches side skirts and anything else I've missed to be resprayed. Seats, wiring harnesses and all other parts that would need to be moved can be moved. Sounds like a lot of work, but to be honest a lot of that can be done in a few days. If he has uprated suspension on, that can all get moved over. i think the shell that Baz has, has had a lot stripped off of it. so would need a lot put back on from Craig's car. No real bother and can be done. including the steering rack. rewiring. it really would depend on how far Baz has got in dismantling his JDM shell Total time i would think to get all of this done, would be around 3 weeks. i have the time to do it. so can work on it each and every day until its done. Anyway this is still hearsay lol, Craig has already said that he would much rather it goes to some where he can get a warranty from. i can provide one if he wants. after all if i put it all together, ill know if anything what to change if it goes wrong.
