  1. Bloody donut, im already a daddy lol
  2. Well got my parts yesterday to do the wheel stud, and gaiter. Took the wheel off the car. undid the caliper, slipped it off the disk, and noticed it was leaking at the pipe as it goes into the stud. yay another problem. Hammered the crap out of the stud and the caliper dropped off ? lol Replaced the stud, removed the offending brake pipe, went and got a new one, Replaced it. replaced the steering gaiter. Thought i know, ill bleed the brakes now, did a search on how and what to do, followed it to the letter. even used JeffTT's advice and did the ABS thingy in the boot first. then the fronts, and then the rears. Still have very spongy pedal then it goes rock hard. but for the first few pushes i have no brakes. Well car is already for the MOT Sept this brake bleeding problem I'm having. doesn't seem to be any air in the system yet its still all spongy. :( any other thing i should be looking at? Please note, brakes where fine before the pipe snapped (drivers side from caliper to wheel mount bracket thingy) there are no leaks in the system and pedal does go hard after 2 brake pedal pushes.
  3. scan showed the baby as male. had a huge pair of balls, (glad he takes after me then lol)
  4. PS. nicci PM us your number, ill let you know when she has it, and you can update this for me, if that's ok :D
  5. Thanks for that, just reminded me to charge the batteries in the camera :) Got loads of photos of our first when she was born, misses doesn't appreciate how she looked, but bugger her it was about the baby, not a photo shoot for a beauty pageant :D
  6. I have japspeed decat pipes connected to a mongoose oval tail pipe. only down side i have (not sure if anyone else has this problem) is the drivers side pipe as it comes down from the manifold connection, touches the body at the bend, not sure if my manifold is bent or the decat pipe is, but its annoying.
  7. my zed has a little button to press to take the key out as well. thought mine got stuck the first time i tried to take the key out lol

  10. There is one fundamental flaw to your argument, as someone who uses the forum and knows how to work a search button. i have posted questions AFTER USING the search, only to get the smarmy "Use the search button" answer. You see, that is the flaw in your argument YOU can not tell if they have already used the search function, so what if someone has posted the same question that has already been asked 1000x before. just because they have done that, DOES NOT mean they haven't already used the search function and just got p'ssed off with it not working how they want it too. As for researching a car before you buy it. I'm sure you and everyone else has made that mistake before, i know i sure did. doesn't stop you getting a lemon anyway just lets you know what kinda problems to expect. IF you get them. Telling someone in a "sarcastic tone" to use a search button, would prompt most new people to tell you to feck off, i know i sure would. especially if they have never used a forum before and dont know the intricate workings of it. Surly its better to just reply to post with helpful answers, instead of commenting on there lack of forum understanding. as when they finally get acquainted with the inner workings of the forum, there will be more search results. Just remember, just because someone can buy a nice rare car, doesn't mean they know how to work a computer, let alone how a forum works. If you wanted to let new people know about the search, a little politeness goes a long way and better than sarcastic remarks. Come off it, how hard was it to just post Can you please use the search button at the top of the forum to see if your query has already been answered; before making a post, thank you. Whats next a post about spelling and grammar?
  11. i posted a question once on here asking for help, and kindly got the reply "use the search there are 32432705898 other posts of the same question" funny thing is, why would i want to go trudging through that many posts only to find out none of them helped me in the slightest, only way i have ever found to use the search almost successfully, is with single words as the keyword, But then, it only brings up 20 pages (most of them cant be found towards the end) and half of them are total utter rubbish and have no resemblance to what i actually need. I have come across this "use the search" attitude plenty of times on forums, and to be pretty honest its rather rude. We all have to start somewhere, and a lot of us do search other areas and when we cant find what we are looking for we post. not every time the situation is the same either as all cars are different and have different gremlins causing the same type of problem Take my lighting issue for starters. i posted saying about my lighting problem, everyone replied and even gave links to a similar post, everyone said it was an earthing issue. now had i followed the advice from the search posts, i would of ripped out all the earth leads and refitted them only to still have the problem, due to it being a live feed issue and not a earth issue. This is a forum, its for asking questions, yes sure its been asked plenty of times before, but to be honest even if its asked 1000times already, I'm not losing sleep over it. and you dont have to reply or even click on the thread, the only time i could ever see it being an issue is when there is two or three post above the other on the same page and there all asking the same thing from different users. Half the time its even commented that its better to make your own post even when the same issue is brought up in a similar thread as it can be classed as hijacking. Also, isnt it for the MOD's and the site owner to stipulate a search first ask later policy?
  12. first off, check all your fuses, especially down by the drivers foot well, sounds like water ingress to me and its shorting somewhere. next you could try a ecu reset, unplug your battery for about an hour. though this will put the ecu into learning mode once plugged back in. But your main task is to find out whats causing the short. so check your fuse box for water, both under the bonnet and at the drivers foot well. Id hazard a guess that it might be your targa roof drain pipe disconnected halfway down and is leaking water into the main fuse box in the foot well.
  13. Any photos of how the cardboard go over this lot, looks a bit of a jigsaw puzzle and i still haven't managed to figure it out yet lol

  21. aah, but the one about a lad in the army dressed in uniform who walking into a garage in London and was refused service by a Muslim is true, was even on topgear as jezza covered it as well. was a few years ago though when the Iraq war part 2 broke out. and before anyone says "your racist because you are targeting Muslims", i say this, no im not, it just so happened to be a Muslim behind the counter who refused the army lad. all religions are the same, all promote "thou shalt not kill" in some way shape or form. yet none can keep to it.
  22. Use Photobucket, sign up for an account if you dont have one, hit the big UPLOAD button, select the pictures you want to upload, once its done it will ask you to tag it, just select go to album, find the photo you uploaded, put your mouse on it and it will give you 3 choices of code, use the bottom one ( starts as [img=....) , right click the code (no need to highlight it as it does it automatically) and copy, then paste the code into your reply, hit preview to make sure its showing correctly, and post when done. HTH
