Well last thing i need to be doing is changing springs just for the MOT. Jesus, so what do these people do if they ever get a serious super car in then? as someone mentioned, if someone took a lambo to them? Suppose i best hunt around for someone with a flat loading ramp

They can get it on the ramps to test it, but used wood to do so, so id hazard a guess and say they have tested lowered cars before. that was the whole point in my visit today, to see if it would go on their ramps. which it did, just with the aid of wood

what type of jack? there are plenty of different jacks that can go underneath it, you can even get low profile jacks made specifically for lowered cars. some OEM car jacks can also go under it, infact the bog standard alloy jack that originally came with the car goes under it. The only jack i have a problem with is my trolley jack. I suppose the last person to get her MOT'ed (back in 06) didnt have such a problem due to having 18inch wheels on it, so would of raised it a bit more than what its sitting at, at the moment: as i have the standard alloys on.

defo not hitting the arches, got enough room under them for some 20's lol (i wished) and defo not hitting the bump stops even when hitting a speed hump at 20mph due to the old brake pads, or lack of

Took my car down to my usual MOT station, to see if we can get it on his ramps. Been advised that it might fail due to being too low?? its not hitting the stops or anything, but he said its a concern. Never heard of a car failing due to being too low on lowing springs before

Brakes bled omg does it stop good, in fact since i renewed the brake line and bled the brakes, its braking better than before :D one tiny bit of welding needed now due to clipping a speed hump wrong on the way to get the tires done (about2 inches long) and its MOT time :dance:

iirc that's the fuel purge line that goes to the carbon canister

paint underneath matey, with a double sided sticky strip across the upper part (closet bit to the window) two clips on either end on the narrow long bits, and threaded studs around the out side edge that protrude into the boot lid. Once off, you need to clean the boot lid, and take the sticky stuff off, if your going for a non spoiler look, fill and primer the holes, sand down with 1000 sand paper, making sure there are no humps or edges, prime, paint and lacquer Car.Mad spoiler is ready just need to get my misses and the new one home then shes all yours (spoiler not the misses lol), sorry for the delay. Right the big update. Last night, around 9pm the hospital told us to go over and have a check to see if things had started, got there and they put her on the ECG for baby's, baby was fine, tes was having contractions that she couldn't feel, but the hospital thought it would be ok to send us home until things got underway fully. 4am we were back over the hospital due to tes having major contractions, 8am she was fully dilated. 11 o'clock they rushed her into an emergency C-section. 12:10 and me dressed as a nurse, we had a 6lb 10oz baby boy with us. :D

Shame your so far away, i would of said pop it over and ill take a look for you.

just a quick thank you for all the nice messages so far. shes tucked up in bed now trying to get as much sleep as possible. nicci will be the liaison once shes given birth. but all the messages have been very much appreciated. so thank you all. will let you know how it goes, if nothing has happened by tomorrow we have to go back over the hospital for 4pm.

I suffer with insomnia so that doesn't bother me lol :D apparently its a symptom, id disagree. i cant blooming wait to be honest I'm well excited, but when he gets older and thinks hes taking the Zed out for a drive, is the day he moves out lol

i have on mine a rare set of OEM alloys :D (well everyone probably has a set, but i display mine on the vehicle)

just get a very good gaming PC for them, wipes the floor on a ps3 and 360 hands down. plus they do a hell of a lot more. Plus, you can plug a xbox360 control pad in and away you go, (up to as many as you have usb ports for) and your not limited to how much harddrive space either, as with a PC the possibilities are endless, and you get the same games on both consoles available on PC but with better graphics. and you dont have to subscribe to xbox live with a PC to play online.

just got back from the hospital, as they wanted us to go in for a check, contractions are 10mins apart and 2cm dilated, so come morning, might have full blown labor going and sprog tomorrow :D hopefully

having a few contractions, nothing steady, looks like i might be able to bleed the brakes while we are waiting lol (joking)
