A chart topping 8mpg lol 12 at a push I get smoke from both exhuasts but due to cold weather I'm not sure if it's smoke or condensation burning off the pipes it's light and fluffy looks like it does when you breath out in the cold, it doesn't smell of coolant and I'm not burning oil, the coolant in my rad is still at the same level it was when I refreshed the system an the engine is very smooth. so I know I can rule out head gasket failure oh and it's White smoke well I say smoke it's more like mist. I might be just paranoid due to having changed the engine but I'd rather be safe than sorry before I do any damage to it. As for consults I don't no anyone near me with. My car smells very rich and working out how much fuel I went through with testing the engine I'm inclined to believe it is indeed running rich, would this be a problem with the o2 sensors? Or something else, I think I do still have a small air leak on the inbonnet fuse box air intake pipe to throttle body, could this also be a attributing factor? Or should I be looking some where else?

+1 to this I just hope the break in was like what happened to me, and just tools were stolen. The 300zx is a specialist car regardless of how you view it, and parts for these although expensive would only be targeted if the person doing the stealing knew about these cars, so until all facts are known I think it's best if people are just a little conservative with the comments, there might be a genuine reason why the guy hasn't answered yet. If he was as helpful and forth coming as most whom seem to think they know who it is have said, he might be feeling very guilty of anything that has happened to your car while in his care, or because of a consequence of the break in or of his life taking a turn for the worst. I know this is of little comfort if anything has happened, but from what I have gathered so far at least the guy knew what he was doing before all of this kicked off. Money issues can lead to depression and depression can have a very adverse effect on ones mind and rational thinking process. You might find all your parts and your car still there but the work just not done, keep your spirits up and I really do hope it all turns out for the best.

Been offered the chance to reshell to a TT, but as I have a N/A, apart from the pipe work for hicas and the intercoolers is there anything else I should be aware of As I'd need to do a engine change with gear box, before commiting? Also the shell is auto and I have a manual how hard would it be to use the parts already on my car for a manual convertion?

They can be changed independuntly but it's cheaper and easier to just change the unit as a whole, I looked into this when the a/c compressor went on my xantia, it's the same company who makes them.

if you have them off already, here is a handy hint for anyone else with access to a welder, weld a nut onto the locking wheel nut, and then use the corresponding nut socket to get it off.

what i love about them is my car is lowered and was sitting on 18's when first done, when its sitting on the OEM's its too low, but now back on 18's its just the right height. still low mind you but at least its not toooo low. awwww trying to figure out how to get the cash for them now i have found a new love for my car thanks to Craig :D pictures really do not do it justice to be honest. just wondering if we can work something out now. lol

well anyone who has read my thread in the members section will know what has happened, well i need some help, was trying to do the right thing tonight and move out, got all my stuff packed and got everything in my friends car ready for the off, got the car moved from out the back of the house and put it round the front. This guy comes around to finish it with my ex saying that he thinks she was just using him. I said my good byes to her, went to the car with my friend and me mate turns around and says "i can here a hissing" The f**kers only gone and slashed all 4 of my tires, so has anyone got a set of OEM alloys with at least some tread on the tires so i can get my car moved, i haven't got no cash until Wednesday next week, but really do not trust my car where it is. Biggest problem i have is its lowered and i don't even know how I'm going to get a jack under the damn thing to get it in the air to get the wheels off it. Any help would be absolutely appreciated. all i want to do is move and start my life again. Man it seems even when doing things with out trying to be an ass all you get is shit.
