nope, haven't had a chance to drive with the roof off yet, its rained everyday I've owned it for, and when the rain did stop, the bloody snow started lol

i put the kids to bed, then sorted the prezzies out, watch a kick ass film, now I'm cuddled up on the sofa with the misses

distance? me and preggers misses traveled 655miles including a ferry trip just to arrive at our Zed, then it blew 18 miles later..... and made the other 640 ish miles home with out it, grab nafs. distance should never be a problem when getting a car . Distance for a nice Zed pfft :P

Its ok, we have a different way of looking at it this Christmas, its the first Christmas as a family where our daughter will realise about it. last Christmas she was to young to understand and still needed help unwrapping her prezzies. This year we can do the Santa thing of putting the prezzies under the tree on Christmas eve and watching her face when she unwraps them and see what we got her. :D Cant wait lol Our time as parents has arrived this time around. so should be a uplifting experience for us both.

Do indeed, she comes from Salt lake city Utah, me and my wife relate to this thread, one of my school mates died this year at the age of 34 from meningitis, my grandad died with in a month of him to prostate cancer. and my misses mum and dad are both no longer with us. so Christmas is a bit of a sensitive side for both of us. mainly for her though due to the fact my mum and dad are still alive, and can see their gran children, they will never have the pleasure of meeting my misses mum and dad. so although she has me and the children, she still feels on her own.

Im exceedingly interested in a price too, as i need to get mine done. that's going to look awesome matey.

Well i was born in Germany and grew up there till i was 11, then moved to the UK, my misses was born and raised in the US and only got to the UK in 2002. Its attitude that defines a person matey, not what job or what they have. your more than welcome to come for Christmas dinner if your stuck :D

lol, you must have some serious cold going on where you are, mines still working from the first application over 4 days ago, and its snowed 3 times since then.

Well following my nightmare of trying to get into the car with out breaking the glass, i put a tiny dab of WD40 along the top rubber where it was sticking and using the red tubing you get with it, sprayed it into the lock, works a treat.

when the door is open, put a tiny bit of wd40 along the rubber where the glass meets, use your finger to apply it, clean it off when the weather warms up, do your door lock also if you haven't fitted remote central locking

I'm quite jealous tbh, a TT for £300, only thing id be concerned about at that price is rust, everything else is fixable. id have that engine running with in a week lol want to swap for a N/A that's just had a engine change, only needs a pipe fixing for the MOT and tiny and i mean tiny spot of welding due to low suspension and a speed hump, other than that its running fine :lol:

Id be finding out what torque they did your wheels up to and asking them to replace the brake disk if i was you. It might seem funny, but what if you had woke up in hospital?

Well that's strange as the negative runs from the battery down to the gear box where its mounted using one of the gear box bolts. so if the cable was put on the Plus terminal, all you would do id image is electrify the gearbox and engine. But yeah id start by replacing all relays and checking all fuses.

as already stated, gutted me the misses and the little ones couldn't make it, car is still of the road unfortunately, and I'm not risking driving all that way with no MOT and TAX lol

StellaZ, the sole reason RATM's is at number one, is because the public (my self included) want our number one race back, we are fed up with this glorified karaoke winners getting the number one spot for singing someone else's song to get there. People can complain all they want about how unfair it is that poor little 1million pound record contract - Joe is due to losing out to rage against the machine, but at the end of the day every song that has been number one from the x factor winners so far has been a cover version of someone else's song. and not only that, the prize for winning the x factor was supposed to be a recording contract not a guaranteed Christmas number one that it subsequently turned into. They don't even have the decency to give the winner some credit and record an original and see where it goes. They use the media machine to basically claim the Christmas number one spot, it was turning into a joke and the public spoke out. RATM are donating all profits from this to charity, which to me is a very honest and humbling thing to do. Another thing, the only reason it was in the race for Christmas number one was due to the bands name RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE (that is x-factor) admittedly though it could of been another one of their songs, after all RATM has been in the game 18 years now, that's a lot longer than any of the x factor winners / losers combined. Also it wasn't targeted at Joe, it was targeted at Simon cowell and the x factor machines domination of the number 1 spot.

Well, doesn't matter to me, although i used to listen to rage against the machine, and other rock bands like that back in my day (when i used to have hair down to me bum) Its the principle of the matter, that the X factor song didn't make it and that's whats important. There used to be a time when you didn't know what the Christmas number one was going to be, some times we had decent ones, other times we didn't (Mr blobby, bob the builder?? LOL) Then X-Factor came along, for the last god knows how many years its been running, The first prize for the X-Factor winner was a recording contract, but after the 2nd year, it silently changed to Christmas number 1. Now don't get me wrong, i have no problems with someone from the X-Factor winning the Christmas number 1, but at least give them THERE OWN song, and not a media fed number 1 spot with a cover version. Im glad RATM won, only thing is, i wish it was a different song, after all the record contract for the X-factor winner is with Sony, RATM is also on a Sony label, Simon Cowell Runs Syco Records which as of 2002 became part of Columbia Records and Sony BMG Music Entertainment so either way, hes still going to rep profit from this
