  3. Hmmm some spilt red paint on the rest of your zed there matety, bit of turps an a good polish should get you back to White lol,
  4. Ive seen TT manuals go on stealbay for about the same cost as a TT / manual conversion, is going to cost.
  5. No worrys mate, ill PM you later today. Again grats on the car. looks lovely.
  6. Wow, nice Zed there Craig. oi ring me lol, or PM me your number.
  7. Tescos and sainsburys both us BP fuel. (see the little BP logo on the side of there white trucks)
  8. I too found it a lot easier putting it all back together than taking it all apart. and a lot faster too. just double check the vacuum pipes. i missed a very small one out under the passenger side throttle body, and i had a hard time getting the car to idle properly.
  9. Its the drain pipe from the T top, also another one, if your rear screen demister fails to work and you have replaced the fuse, make sure you check where you replaced the fuse. i had this issue when i first got mine, traced it back to someone replacing the fuse but putting it in the empty slot next to where it should be. once moved to the correct location, rear screen demister working again.
  10. For me, the original spoiler but fiber glass so you dont get that horrible paint peel and end up with a swimming pool where the space saver goes. the WW bumper looks ok, but you really need some exhausts that fill those holes, rather than ones that hug the sides and look too small for it. I have to admit, i do like the jap spec bumper better, but then i hate having to bolt a fog light on that looks out of place. If you remove the skirts, get some nice ones from Car.mad that carry on the flow of the car but dont distract with unnecessary styling that has no function.
  11. What freq are you using for radio one? I had thesame issue in another of my cars, turned out radio one gets better reception using 98.2fm
  12. Lol. Gratz on the mag entry by the way I shall pick my copy up an have a look. Did they say when it's go to print?
  13. Big boobs help matey and it's usally the fastest way into one:p
  14. I loved your zed, and as much as I like skylines and yours is nice and all, I'd still prefure the zed lol. Anyway what are you on about my zed has 4 seats :p and I can fit my 2 kids and an ex in there
  15. Tell him to shop around autoglass charge an extortionate rate of £700, £400 of that is window trim that you can remove your self carefully so as not to break the clips, I have found a place that will do it with supplied glass for a lot less than £700
  16. I don't think the problem is getting them out so much as making sure everything is dine up properly once they are refitted
  17. Omg baz that had me laughing my socks off, now I have cold feet:confused1:
  18. Yep it's me again with another strange one, but does anyone near me do windscreen removal? I have found a very good guide writen by someone in the industry and although I feel confident enough to get the old glass out with out damaging it, it's doing the job properly enough when putting glass back in to make sure it doesn't leak and doesn't fall out 6 months down the line that I'm a bit concerned about.
  19. I'd rather he left his little probe well away from my holes tbh
  20. Daz have you got a contact number i can get you on? if so Drop me a PM please
  21. well if i take off the coffee breaks, the waiting on getting new tools, and the time it took me to get the car in the air, id say i can pull an engine in around 8 hours, then how ever long it takes to get the tubs off, and refitting seems to be a lot faster, did most of the work with in 4 hours getting all the connections back in place. only thing that put everything on hold with the N/A was my tools getting stolen halfway through with a gear box out. and that bloody spigot bearing for the engine.
  22. Well either way i dont mind, but if it means i can do a proper job rather than some half ass-ed attempt, i dont mind taking the engine out to do it. so that looks like its going to be the way forward. cant see it being that much different to when i did the N/A ill just drop the gear box out from under it again, and just hoist the engine. do i need to remove it fully from the car or just enough to get at the tubs. good thing is I've taken the connectors off the engine on a N/A so know how temperamental they can be.
  23. They can, but i think it boils down to whether those behind can see the back of your car when its doing it lol
