  1. happy christmas to everyone. hope its a good one .
  2. ive just had battery issues myself . its hardly been used for the last few weeks for obvious reasons and the battery froze (literally). 6 hours by the rad for a gentle defrost and 24hrs gentle charge and she fired up fine this morning . the big test is if she will hold charge and fire up again in the morning . fingers crossed
  3. i cant believe the way the roads have fell apart again over the last couple of weeks . potholes everywhere and cracks . ive just fitted firmer suspension on my zed and as yet havent took it for a spin because of the ice . having seen the roads today im gonna get myself a gumshield for the maiden voyage to stop my fillings from rattling out . its a bitter pill to swallow when you think of how much we have to pay in road tax .
  4. i,d just like to say a big thankyou to jeff at zedworld for the loan of a battery today . dug me out of a big hole . i must be the luckiest zed owner around living within a mile of zed mecca . top service from a top bloke . cheers mate andy

  7. he walked round with me for half hour loading my trolley
  8. i was gonna say what a numpty but i drove my volvo for 6 moths thinking it was rear wheel drive only to find out it was a frontie . felt like rear wheel drive today in the sludge .
  9. should be on the back .
  10. having just got in i think this is very sensible . the roads around here are trechorous . i very nearly lost the volvo a couple of times driving very slowly so driving a zed in this around here would be life threatening . big sympathies to all at zedworld after all the planning but the only course of action you could have taken . andy
  11. every time i walk past mine i think georgous . not many cars that stand the test of time like a zed . they would still grace a modern motor show.
  12. theres a place in brum mate that i got mine from . cost about £49.99 and really easy to do. they are an ebay seller but you can call at the unit to save wiating on posting . they let me open up the box and try the bulbs for fit aswell . nice guys . i havent got the phone number but its toyosports ltd unit 44 rovex business park hay hall road tyseley brum b11 2au

  16. with series 1 it automatically blows in the direction thats needed to achieve the set temp. with series 2 you can alter the direction .

  22. its just a resistor on the back of the clocks that change the signal . always worth doing a check against a sat nav to get them spot on though.
  23. 15 degrees btdc is what it should be iirc
  24. the best advice yet . uve only got 4 little bits of rubber connecting all the zeds power to the tarmac . make sure its good quality . and go easy on the loud pedal when its wet
