  1. That did cross my mind. How easy are they to access lower down?
  2. Nah they were from a member on here, but totally unused. I'll trim them down then!
  3. See pic, might make it a bit clearer. The pipe won't go into position any better than in that pic. The other pipe also won't go, I've tried that. I have a feeling that there may not be a solution to this other than to shorten the pipe? Hopefully it's just me being retarded and there's a simple fix. I assume it's not possible to move either of the connecting pipes (the black ones)?
  4. lol I did think of that! I've tried all different combos. The two central pipes are fine (going to the throttle bodies), but the other two are too long to fit. As you say Dougal, there is a swage at the end, cutting them would remove this which would be a problem. I'll try and get a photo and upload, might make it a bit clearer. I asked Japspeed and they suggested asking on here.
  5. Yeah, the problem is the actual metal pipes seem physically too long to fit in between where they need to go. I tried removing the rubber end bits to see if the pipe would fit in the gap, but it doesn't as it's too long. Shortening it by a few mm would probably work but I'm mainly wondering if there's a reason I shouldn't do this? Another option I guess would be if the pipes had a bit more of a curve to them? Does that make sense?
  6. I've just picked up a set of Japspeed hard pipes to replace the standard rubber intake piping, I spent about an hour trying to fit them yesterday and cannot for the life of me get them on, they seem about 5mm too long. My current thinking is to try and shorten them a fraction, I'm just wondering if there's a reason I shouldn't do this? Or if anyone has another suggestion? Returning them isn't an option as I bought them second-hand (but unused) at a great price.
  7. Urgh, they did that in China as they didn't like the taste! Even in posh bars!
  8. Christ on a bike. I bet he was Mr Brown Trousers after that, nicely avoided though.
  9. My dad got one a few months ago, it's the first bit of technology that I've seen in ages that I've actually been impressed with, simple as it is! Easy to read, massive battery life (1 month or so without charging?). Only downside is that you don't get the same "feel" you do with a book.
  10. Did this yesterday and it worked a treat. I hadn't realised how dusty they were on the inside, lights are much brighter than they were now although they're still crap, think they're just pointed in the wrong direction!
  11. Sweet. Do you need to re-glue it for reassembly, or does it stick if you head up the old sealant?
  12. My worst (best) tankload was 9mpg, that was fun. I've stopped counting now.
  13. Ditto, this is a job that's on my list and I'd be interested to know how this works.
  14. Can you go through the insurance route as you have the other cars details?
  15. Christ, what a nutjob! Did you accidentally cut him up or was he just a psycho?
  16. My mate's E39 M5, was pleased about that as he was so confident he'd win, I walked it! Haven't really tried it on with anyone else.
  17. A DBS is one of my dream cars, but there's no replacement for the real thing, that one is horrific IMO, proportions are all wrong! As bad as the Ferrari replicas...
  18. You sir, have great taste :D
  19. Well, here's my first and only zed, owned for just over a year now: Not me in the drivers seat: Good times
  20. Yup! How did you know that?

  23. I'm in Milton Keynes and have no idea which region that fits into, I guess Thames Valley is good enough! Aren't there also "car control" (drift) days at finmere? http://www.mazdaontrack.co.uk/finmere-car-control-day---friday-25th-june-267-p.asp
  24. Maybe if we all advertised our cars way over value we could boost prices? :D
