  1. Seriously, don't start in penny stocks unless you can afford to lose it all. They can be a goldmine, but only if you know what you are doing. Most stocks at those prices are that cheap for a reason.
  2. I did the doors using Brown Bread a while back, made a massive difference. Would love to do it as extensively as Groover has done though...
  3. I had one the other day: Guy: Lovely car mate, what colour is it? Me: (Confused, seeing as we're looking at the car I respond to him like he's a bit special) Er, it's blue. Guy: Pardon? (looking at me like I'm special) Me: It's blue. Guy: (Still looking at me like I'm special) No mate, I asked what car it is! Me: Oh... :blushing:
  4. Each to their own, I was just expressing my opinion on the car. I think comments like ours are becoming more common because modifying trends have moved on. Tacky bodykits and lairy paintjobs (no matter how high the quality of the workmanship) have gone out of fashion in favour of smoothed bumpers and less blingy wheels (or OEM+). When I drive past my local cruise it's just a busy as it ever has been, but with more modded jap cars (200sx's, RX-7's etc...) and less lairy bodykits on clapped out old Novas. Look at Max Power, it was full of those types of cars and doesn't even exist anymore! Or compare the cars in the first Fast and Furious movie to the last to see how trends have changed. It's like when you look at photos of yourself as a teenager and just wonder what the hell you were thinking. At the time it was cool as that was the trend, but fashions change...
  5. Should've been banned for that bodykit
  6. I've noticed that Z Centre have these for £485. That's gotta be a typo surely?
  7. I have no claims bonus since 17. This is the second year I've had that car, first year I was paying £1300. All mods declared and at a decent postcode. Have you tried adding your parents or girlfriend/wife as named drivers? This can sometimes help bring premiums down...
  8. Try admiral. I'm paying £750ish on my TT at 22.
  9. I gather they are using people who know what they are doing. The new site was tested before going live but as with anything, there are always issues that can occur 'on the night'... Gruntpa, I imagine if you get in touch with them they'll extend your advert period to compensate if they aren't doing that automatically.
  10. The new classifieds section is worlds ahead of the old one. It's a pretty big shift so there are bound to be teething issues, which they are working on. It'll be brilliant when it is fully working. I can't see why everyone is whining about it on there? You can still access the old style classifieds if you want anyway... I think if you get in touch with them they will extend your ad duration to account for the downtime.
  11. Nice frame! That trail looks sweet, makes me wish I lived further north. The biggest hill we have around here is this: :(
  12. I've got Chilli plants in the garden, got quite a harvest so everyone is going to be getting Lime Pickle or Chilli Chutney for christmas!
  13. Hey, Yeah I used to go down there a lot - a few years ago. Then the atmosphere changed after a few people left so I stopped going there so much, am more into boat riding anyway. I helped build the A-frame that was there a few years back, think it's gone now. Will have to meet up next season!
  14. This  Working from home I have a pretty good choice in when I have to go anywhere, so always avoid busy times. 4am drives on Easter Sunday to visit my parents in Cornwall are always great fun (and bloody expensive in fuel)!
  15. I don't have a bracket on mine and it seems to be fine!
  16. Parked up at Willen Lake last night (Wednesday). Fellow wakeboarder?
  17. Well for starters, the Zed doesn't answer back... She also doesn't complain when I'm tinkering with her exhaust system. They're both pretty equal on running costs though
  18. I managed without removing the bumper. Do you have a young kid you'd be able to get to help? Small hands would definitely help...
  19. LeoE replied to ZX-TT's topic in Events - UK
I'd potentially be up for this, price dependant.
  20. Looks great, I guess that is "standard plus" modifying or whatever its called? Sweet hat also...
  21. Rustysills was that you who flashed me at the traffic lights by Oakridge Park the other day?
  22. On the Newport Road, just going past the new Oakridge Park estate. Couldn't tell the colour as is was dark (I think it was blue or black), had a vented nose panel also I think.
