  1. I think someone on here was talking about a sort of satin white a while ago, same as on the Lexus ISF:
  2. http://www.zlata.de/ - probably NSFW I think this is her, there were tons of pics of her in a, er, museum I was at in Paris last weekend.
  3. I said no. I would but I work from home mainly. Living in Milton Keynes also means that most drives to get anywhere are barely long enough for the engine to warm up, so the Z only gets used for longer trips or if I just fancy going for a drive (which happens a lot )
  4. Wow, that sounds like a lot of house for the money! Do you have any pics? This is something I've been thinking a lot about recently. Did you do most of the building work yourself?
  5. I find this happens all the time, people just get right up my backside! The closer they get, the slower I go, they soon get the message. The funny ones are the ones in their company diesels, trying to prove how fast their TDi's aren't. I'll oblige on those occasions :whistling:
  6. It is good  Car stepped out on me last night in a straight line, caught it straight away as I was expecting it... I've learnt to never let my guard down in this car!
  7. Isn't it pretty similar to the scheme here? If you're gonna destroy a car by crushing it you may as well have some fun along the way! Just as ridiculous as the scheme here... taking perfectly good, usable cars off the road
  8. *drool* Those wheels are the SEX, you lucky lucky man
  9. Yeah that mini must've been majorly tweaked! Even if it was a Cooper Works, they take about 6 seconds to 60, so even a standard Z should outrun it, especially at higher speeds...
  10. lol, you say that like there is something that should've... ...just kidding! I can't belive it's almost been a year now!
  11. Nice, that yellow is a great colour!
  12. Cheers! What's the deal with there being so many this week/recently?
  13. ...sailed through! That's almost my first year of Zed ownership under my belt, and another year to look forward to! The only thing the guy mentioned was that the suspension was a bit soft. He said the shocks and springs were in good condition, but just that the car drove a bit 'soft' which is something that I've noticed recently also. I had the car up on axle stands for about ten days a few months ago while I refurbed the brakes, ever since then the suspension has been a bit wallowy and floaty, anyone have any idea why this might be? I think it may be a perfect excuse for me to get some coilovers! :whistling:
  14. Could also try Bell. They're owned by Admiral, and a few people I know have found cheaper quotes with them than their parent company.
  15. I think there's also just common decency. If I was walking down the street talking to a friend and a stranger came up to ask for directions, I'd put my conversation on pause and spend two seconds helping them out. If it was my job (it has been) to help customers, then damn straight I'd help them out. I know it's shit pay, but no one is forcing them to do it! Out of interest, what was the shop in question?
  16. +2 for PhilP, 11k miles  That is gorgeous!
  17. The positive terminal clamp on the battery has cracked and doesn't grip onto the post well. I've bought some new terminals to replace the existing ones and have replaced the negative terminal fine, but realised that if I cut off the existing positive terminal (cracked one) to replace it, there's not going to be enough length in the wire to install the new terminal! Is uncrimping the wire from the terminal an option? Or is there a simple way to get an extra inch out of it? I've tried re-routing it and that hasn't given me enough extra length... what are my options? Would cutting it and splicing in an extra bit of wire work?
  18. Funnily enough out of the people I went to school with, some of the most successful (financially speaking) people I know are the ones who did terribly in their exams. A lot have gone to uni, racked up £30k of debt and come out with some BS degree in "Creative wrapping paper management" or something.
  19. Definitely, at least until you've got some road-oriented tyres! Helmet also a great idea, mine have saved me more than I care to remember!
  20. I guess by exterior rubbers you mean the bits next to the windscreen/on the t-tops? I tried it on there a while ago and it didn't work so well... I've ended up just re-painting them!
  21. Peanut butter + Paper towels = cheap way to refurb faded black plastics! Can't remember where I first found this tip, but used it on my daily driver (old Skoda) about two years ago and the trim still looks new! Excuse the crap pics, looks better in person!
  22. Yea, if I were to ever change my rear bumper/spoiler, I would copy that exactly!
