I popped out in the Zed today, was parking up in Milton Keynes city centre and a guy starts rushing towards my car, sort of waving his arms. Doesn't look like a carjacker so I wasn't worried, he reaches to open my door but I manage to open it and get out before he does, keys in my pocket. Turns out he just wanted to congratulate me on having such a "beautiful car". He thought it was fantastic! It absolutely made my day :biggrin: In other news, I love my Zed! It's so much fun on the dry roads we've had recently! :clap:

Similar happened to me last night. A pretty chaved up Impreza pulled alongside me on a dual carriageway, revved his engine a bit and floored it. I took the bait, a few seconds later it looked like he was going backwards in my mirror :biggrin: I love this car :wub:

Bugger. I can't for the life of me find the key for my locking wheel nuts (McGard). I've spent about 5 hours over the past two days searching the garage and the house for it (and the car, before you ask). I guess you can't get replacement keys easily? If not, then what's the easiest solution to get my locking nuts off?

Great tip! Did this today along with an oil change and it's a really noticeable difference... brought back the novelty factor of speed that I felt when I first got her!

1st: 1998 Skoda Felicia 1.6 (Still use) 2nd: 1993 Nissan 300ZX TT :-D Funnily enough the Skoda is *almost* as much fun as the Nissan, mainly because I don't care for the Skoda in the slightest so can rag the sh*t out of it (it's been ragged for every mile that I've driven it and has never skipped a beat!), whereas with the Zed I treat it like a baby!

This happened to me a while back, turned out to be a loose connection between the alarm and the battery...

Thanks both! General consensus from everyone that I've asked seems to be that I won't need a separate amp, so now I just need to find a pair of speakers!

I'm going to upgrade the front speakers in my Zed as they're a bit crap. I want to get a pair of 6.5inch components, and probably an amp to run them. I don't know much about audio and was hoping someone would be able to recommend me a speaker/amp combo. I also don't know if I'll need an amp or not? (headunit is one of these: http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-ida-x200_p-23163.htm, 4x45w output) I don't want to spend a fortune either! I was hoping that I could do the whole thing for under £120 and I don't mind buying used... I'm looking for as high quality as possible, don't need to be too bass oriented as I'm probably going to get a separate sub in the not-to-distant future! If anyone can help me or point me in the direction of help it would be much appreciated! thanks!
