fresh from the body shop with some other photo updates
Looking good, I'm not a fan of big spoilers, I reckon maybe get a small one, 99-spec perhaps? Or a small lip spoiler?

K reg Milton Keynes
Aye, it's like the Bermuda Triangle round here! We should have a homeless meet soon, I see a few nice Zeds (one White, one Grey) parked up in a village outside Oxford whenever I head there, not sure if they're on here also. Hadn't posted up as they're parked outside a house.

What about this for a kit car.
NSX is automotive royalty, that would be a sin! I bet that will look awful when it's finished, the only decent looking replica Lamborghinis I've seen are from Parallel Designs.

K reg Milton Keynes

K reg Milton Keynes
Yup totally. Do you know which region is Milton Keynes in? I'm never sure if its East Anglia, South East, South Central or Midlands?

K reg Milton Keynes
Blue (I think) K reg (I think) Zed in MK this evening. I was the guy in the passenger seat of that blue M5 who gave you the thumbs up :thumbup1:

When do you check your oil?
I check mine once a week or so. Not sure why, it never uses any!

Insurance
I'm looking forward to being 22! 21, no claims since 17 (4 years), £1300 with Admiral. Although took out the policy when I was 20, so come renewal time I'm expecting it to be a bit cheaper.

Being able to see/read the dials
Is it just me, or does anyone else have difficultly actually being able to see the speedo/revs? It's not my eyesight... my steering wheel is in the way! I had a 320mm wheel on there, just changed it for a bigger wheel but no difference (actually slightly worse now). I'm about 6ft and was just wondering if anyone else has this problem? Adjusting the seat doesn't help... just another quirk of the Z I guess! :innocent:

Lost Locking Wheel Nut.
Yup I had to do this a few months ago. If you still have the packaging then there should be a serial number and they'll be able to send you a replacement.

Help needed on car insurance
Another vote for Admiral. I guess it depends on age too, admiral was £2k cheaper than anyone else for me!

Chris Evan's: White Ferrari Collection
Not meaning to be pedantic, but he paid 14m for a 250 california SWB (I think that was the model) a few years back, and a Bugatti type57SC sold for $40m a few weeks back!

Any Zeds live in your town?
Seen two in Milton Keynes, never met the owners though!

Finally!
Oh joy, does this mean that we're going to have yet another leader that wasn't elected?

got my new camera trying
That's nice. I see a lot that are extremely OTT which I'm not a huge fan of...

got my new camera trying
Nice pic. There are numerous types of "HDR" image and it depends what you're going for. They can be used for the sort of "fantasy" effect as posted above or for generating an image that gives the most realistic-to-life exposure possible (almost as your eye would see it), amongst other uses...

Summer road trip
I'm doing a euro trip with a couple of mates this summer (taking the Z, obviously!). I have a concern about fuel though, I've only ever used 99 ron (v-power) fuel, supposedly that's what it's mapped/chipped to use. Does anyone know what the availability of higher-octane fuel is like in France and throughout the alps? Also, does anyone have any recommendation for good routes? We were planning on heading down to Mont Blanc, through the alps to the Stelvio pass then italian lakes, south coast of France, Paris and home...

Silver Z, outside Buckingham
Saw my first Z today (haven't seen one while I've actually been in mine). Silver parked in a layby outside Buckingham, gave you a beep as I went by :)
