  1. I also think he's worried about some "violent" happening if he hits the limiter ... but that isn't the case, is it... does he have that confused with emergency boost??
  2. I don't think that is the case.... The limiter you are talking about is to do with the ecu... can only be changed with a new chip (well from my understanding anyway).
  3. can't you get hold of a little generator?
  4. Place a want add in the wanted section, you should be able to get the ecu... not sure about the turbos but you should get someone to look at it before spending out the big bills...
  5. the pic of groovers shows a light in the bumper at the side... this is jap (& US) spec.... there are many other ways to tell as well.... i.e. smaller rear number plate... no fog lights in the bumper... etc....
  6. LOL... live and let live.... yeah I know it's stupid... but funny.... bin men have been doing it for years.... wearing their jeans around their thighs is even more stupid... lol... I've watched heaps of lads running across the road pulling their jeans up and they run like tw4ts as well.. :)
  7. make sure you are looking at the right pin!!!! the one beside 114 is blank
  8. lol... only if you replace the one that is leaking.... the ones on the fuel rail are hard to do, particularly the one at the front under the accelerator linkage .... I did mine with new fuel hose, to get braided down there would be a nightmare without doing a plenum pull.
  9. are you sure that yours has the added insert so that you can only use small pump fittings? mine is just standard.... I'd try taking the cover off under the spare tyre (to the pump) and check for a smell or leak there....
  10. CoolQ, show us a pic of your filler pipe....
  11. Thanks Jeff, that heaps better.... :)
  12. Oh and thanks for the conzult check Dan.... had half the loom apart yesterday but couldn't track down the fault.... will have another go next week..
  13. this any good? http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=efec&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=140&design=default&total=190
  14. lol... Jason.... :)
  15. Lets hope the weather holds out and we have a nice day... (as long as it's not raining I'll be happy)... lol..
  16. LOL... it looks a bit better now..... by the way, my mate Jason form Conceptua will be giving a free oil filter to everyone how brings their 300 (or other performance car)... ok it's not much but a nice gesture... :) see you there....
  17. I just found my ones as well... well I think i did anyway... elbow pipe going back into the rocker cover form the PCV... really loses... going to test it tomorrow...
  18. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  19. Well!!!! if the met office are right it will be an indoor meet!!!! :(
  20. LOL... oops... :D I'm currently looking into finding some sort of smoke to run though the induction system to help track down leaks... something like this... http://www.maplin.co.uk/smoke-spray-in-a-can-20746 but got to make sure there is no detrimental affect on the car....
  21. did you check the clutch assistance... I've seen a few threads that point to that as a possible vac leak area.
  22. not to mention the other things you can't do if you're not a subscribed member.... like sell stuff...
