  1. if there are any others out there looking to get in this table you could buy my car and take the engine out of it.. ready for big HP...
  2. lol.. silly me... overlooked that... Been very busy doing DYI on the front of the house.... and yes, have got the gears and the smaller of the rubber seals.. PM me your address. I'll be home again next Wednesday.. I'll pop them in the post, how does £5 sound? how many cogs did you want, think I've got 4 (will let you know exact numbers).
  3. link to Oz forum guide... http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.349
  4. agreed ,the TAMIYA replacements are a great long term solution... however they are not a simple job, you need to be careful so as not to push too hard and damage the lights housing. Also they are not a perfect fit together and so in the long term may also have issues (but i can't see why hey wouldn't outlast a 20 year old car) and yes I have done mine with them. aside form that, if you want a quick fix I do have a few of the plastic ones and can post them to you, possible with the rubber bulb seal as well (cheap).. I'll have a look in my storeroom and let you know.
  5. as far as I know there is only one fuse, however that may not mean the stalk is at fault... check the bulb holders for wire problems and corrosion...
  6. how about my car... engine is a beast (Jimmer, Jeff & Noz can confirm) but needs new torbos... you could strip and sell the rest (or use whatever you wanted), it currently has 12 months MOT & 4 months Tax.
  7. LOL.. no and don't waist your money... the good Consult software is much cheaper than that. my connectors are only the £20 ones but work fine and the software (as I said before) was free... let me PM you some more info...
  8. Hi, I should have made it a bit more clear... I have a couple of consult adapters (& usb cables) and a few different types of software. the consult is the free version and only has limited access but I have another one that is very powerful. since I'm selling the Zed I no longer need them.. and so would be happy to sell them.. (the connectors that is, you can have the software).
  9. where in Devon are you? I've got as number of programs that read the Zeds..
  10. yeap... heaps better, cheers.. :)
  11. Front indicators, clear conversion (de-tangoed) and mod for larger SMIC fitments, £30 posted. (these don’t have the hole for the sidelight) The units have been pulled apart and the amber lenses removed. The bulb holder has been cut off, a new hole has been made on the other side of the unit, the section cut out has been heat welded over the old bulb location and the bulb holder has been heat welded in the new location. The inside has been re-sprayed silver. Units have been cleaned and re-sealed.
  12. buy my car... take engine out, put new turbos on it, put it in yours and break / sell whatever is left....
  13. that might just be a good idea.... it could be a few things... but I would hazard a guess at turbo oil seals... (mind you that is only a guess). :) could also just be the PCVs, now that would be a nice cheap quick fix.. some other possibles are much worse... good luck.
  14. speak to Mondo... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?171-Hide-n-Seat-Auto-Interiors
  15. I assume you mean the ECU temp sensor unit (two prong one). if it works correctly it should be telling the ecu exactly that.. so worth a check, connectors, wire and connection to ecu. http://www.karljapetre.com/z/ecu/
  16. agreed... sometimes it's a nightmare tracing a very small fault. so many possible contenders... MAF, PTU, TPS, ECU, coil pack, fuel, earthing... etc... best of luck.
  17. hey, not sure if you've seen this before... http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=922678 I found it crucial to endure all connectors where secure and clean as well.. the MAF can be cleaned as well..
  18. what part... http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/er_z32/1992_3/type_1/axle_suspension_and_steering/front_axle_and_front_suspension/
  19. LOL... I think he would have used a ruler (as it's not clear how big the washer is) but it was the first thing to hand.... :p
  20. Mmm, not keen on throwing in the towel either.. and yes can do the washer.... one of the dogs found it and propped it beside the light just before I took the shot.... :)
  21. right checked and it is a passengers side one... light is in in OK condition... it's yours for £20 posted if you're interested.
  22. I've got a set that I know only one is good... let me have a look and confirm..
  23. a bit cheeky I know but you could buy my car and take the engine out and use that...
  24. LOL.. I just did a search and copied what it said... Do'h !!!
  25. you can ask Dan at DTA (on here) he does good ones... these H3 have also been rated as good... http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H3-OSRAM-Night-Breaker-Unlimited-110-Upgrade-Xenon-Headlight-Bulbs-Pair.html
