  1. well I hope there good at that price.... http://www.edgeperformance.co.uk/view.asp?ID=776 certainly better than stock!! and that was going of the scale.. :)
  2. like I said SPIGOT RINGS... :) Spigot rings are also known as hub centric rings, o'rings, spacers, reducer rings or centre locating rings... e.g. or look them up on ebay/search engine... http://www.spigotrings.com/shop/custom.asp?recid=2
  3. Hi, yeah, thanks good point.... the spigot rings are important if you have after market wheels.
  4. no... I should have been more explicit.... if you look down behind the coil packs (towards the middle of the engine) you will see the connectors the leads run parallel with the coil packs leads. just remove the plastic cover on the top of the engine. you will need a couple of very thin flat long screwdrivers to undo the metal clips. this will help http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/plenum/plenum.aspx
  5. Hi, the injectors sit down under the plenum, if you look down behind the coil packs you can see the connectors. they are hard to get to and there is (like on all other connectors) a metal clip.. you need a bit of patience (remove the plastic cover first) there is also a connector to the fuel rail temp sender unit (passengers side) .. :)
  6. I think he's just trying to compliment you for your knowledge and assistance... :)
  7. thanks Alan, LOL.. got board after a couple of minutes.. will have a another look later... don't need help to turn it on... need help "not throwing it out the window" :)
  8. lol.. yeah, I've got a HTC wildfire.... and just like you both said... junk!!! I hate it... can't do heaps of stuff it should, can't find anything on it where I think it should be... and still (after months) hate the stupid touch screen... :smash::smash: Oh, well.. at least I can look forward to one day (soon) being senile and not caring.. :)
  9.:lol::lol::lol::lol: good old groover.... I should have known.... :) Think I'll search first next time....
  10. if its the full version then you will see both and they should both be pulsing up and down (at idle).. if the value/s is/are fixed then there is a problem. check connectors and wires before replacing the sensors. but like phutumsch says.... you say it started after the new chip!! where did you get it from? who programmed it? what are your mods? can you put another in to check.... there may be nothing wrong with the O2's
  11. LOL.. at least he's true to his image... :)
  12. thank you very much kind sir.. :) my thoughts exactly.... I'm a bit sick of my rusty old bolts...
  13. this any use to anyone... i just found it on the Oz forum...
  14. Ah I see, he said: i thought I told him that location so just pointed to the other side.... but yes if it was inside he should have said.. "where does this come in at" :)
  15. Ah, right... pull the passengers side carpet back, undo the two (or maybe four) screws that hold the ply down, lift the ply out. you will then see the ecu's, up in behind them... :)
  16. there are a few places to go thought but the shortest way would be with the main harness below and to the side of the battery... best to take the battery out (and scuttle panel, save breaking it).
  17. right, so you're talking about the 2 pronged ecu temp sender unit.. the unit sends information back to the ecu as the temp changes so just unplugging it without further information isn't any help... did you warm the car up first and them unplug it? did you unplug it and then start the car and let it run? when you "messed about", who exactly were you messing about with?? :) since we're not there we really need you to tell us what you have done so wee can rule that out now.... either get someone local with conzult (or datascan or other software) or get one on the cheap units form ebay, that will at least give you an accurate reading for what the ecu sees with Temp, TPS, air flow, injection time and a single. readout for O2. These may not help to solve the problem but will help to rule stuff out and narrow it down.
  18. :lol::lol::lol::lol: Oh, and welcome.... :)
  19. just a thought... if the TB's are really dirty inside that may cause it to stick as well.... Also there is a thread around somewhere about adjusting those linkages, it's very important that it's done right (both TB's should be balanced) otherwise it throws the idle and everything out. found it... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?151304-Throttle-balance-tech&highlight=throttle :) worth checking...
  20. can you get someone local to you to put conzult on it? try unplugging to O2's and see what happens. I see you're in the UK, there must be lots of people around there than can help.. lol... :)
  21. LOL... like Cyberbean said... http://onlineslangdictionary.com/meaning-definition-of/pita you need to look slang stuff up... very commonly used :)
  22. LOL... I know how you feel... not to mention lost skin doing jobs around the engine....
  23. are you sure they are the right plugs? the recommended is Platinum (PFR6B-11C) not Iridium.
