Just installed those gauges i bought from autodials, they are visible in the day a lot better than the autogauge ones. No Flash Change of colour All in all i am pretty impressed. rich

Mike It appears things have taken a drastic turn, i was coming home from newmarket and seeing how good the air con could work, when Bang! car kept stalling when no throttle applied and smoke coming out of the front left side of engine area, couldn't et it to start and hold revs, so decided to switch off aircon. Voila, all's okay. So chances are my compressor has blown up..maybe.. if it has, what luck in that i had just taken a working one off SY_GT for nought . So do you think it was the compressor blowing up? Rich

Just bought 2 of these from here and these are about £30 - £35 each, (dont worry about the site, i know its a mess) i have got Auto Gauge Gauges which are nice, but you cant see them in the daytime, These dials claim to be EL Glow type gauges, similar to dash ones, so will be visible in the day. Graham, your lights looked good with the gauge bathed in light, but if you didn't want that, good idea Dave.. so i think i'll put some led's in the dash like Groover and mod it like Daves_Zed suggested... ps Graham. are those pod gauges the ones that go through a startup routine? Graham Thanks mate, i can however see where you're coming from, in the pics of the dials the needle is not illuminated at all, i'll check tonight to see if that's the case. would those leds do the job or would they screw up the indiglo's Rich

Graham,, erm no, i'm after EL Glow dials , the LEDs i was asking about are the ones you mentioned above, as i said, i assume you are talking about the bulbs that throw the light forward, see below or are you talking about LEDs behind the dials

Well i just checked with someone who i sent £35 to last week and they said they got it all because they asked me to send it as a gift. so i did. Has anyone paid as a gift and been charged? Ric

I suppose i should.. i'm waiting for a new tailgate from Plymouth as my rear glass has de laminated and the spoiler has been ripped off (by me), so the back end looks rubbish at the moment. Once that's all been done...watch this space... Rich

Thats definately a white dial kit, but i'm after something like the ones i had i my mr2 which were plainer and less colourful. like below So thanks for the offer Zairs, that was really kind of you, but i'm going to have to decline. Regards Richard

Graham You mean the ones pointing forward through the slots? Also, Graham, i ended up wiring the pos and neg to those 2 other screws you mentioned, much easier to access Have you got the item number for those led's on ebay, dont fancy searching through 54,478 items! Rich

Dave Hi, yeah i left the bulbs in behind the dials. Cant say i notice them behind the Glow of the new dials. Small bulbs? if you mean the 4 bulbs for throwing light forward, well they must have blown ages ago as they dont work. As for the dials , well they're okay, but what i really wanted were some white Glow dials, Rich

Well i finally wired up the dials and they look pretty cool at night, tried to take some pictures but results were not that great, anyway, here goes
