  1. Cheers Paul, i'll let you know. i suppose Cambridge is a bit out of your call out area..... Ric
  2. okay here goes, the door light does not go out when the doors shut, which means when the alarm is armed it turns off as it senses an open door. the light worked before the alarm was fitted ie it went out when the door was shut, but now, it seems to have a short in the alarm connections. (i have checked all the switches) So i need someone to check out the alarm connections and also tell me, if poss, the features the alarm has. Ric
  3. Hi Is there anyone who is an alarm fitter/troubleshooter as i am having a few issues with my Clifford Alarm. Thanks Ric

  6. Any one want to buy this kit http://www.carairconditioningsupplies.co.uk/caraircon/product.php?productid=516&cat=6&page=1 Never used..still in box
  7. Hi I bought one of these kits http://www.carairconditioningsupplies.co.uk/caraircon/product.php?productid=516&cat=6&page=1 It has some extensive instructions, part of which include evacuating the system at 29 degrees, Has any one used this kit at all, and if so, have you got any advice on using it. Thx Ric
  8. Hi Has anybody got any experience on removing the rear windscreen, i need to replace mine with one i can see through!! Cheers Ric
  9. Something else that has been bugging me, is when you're modifying/doing up the interior/exterior/engine bay etc, is, how for do you go..? and to what level of quality.? Thinking about the inside and in particular the seat trims, yeah, leather is nice, smells good, looks good, however is it suitable if you are using the car every day...? I read the mag article on Steves 300zx , you know the green one up for sale for £8.5K, and the interior is to die for, cream leather retrim £2000 , more than i paid for my ZX!!, but its not a daily drive and he says it spends most of its life in the garage. Therefore for me, i would get this company's re-trim kit. If i put leather in, i would panic every time i got in and would not let anyone else in the passenger seat! but thats just me. ric
  10. Lahsx I'm sure it was more than a blind, it was more like a shelf with leather/leather look sides Ah well..looks like i am nuts after all...you were right Dave Mad Ric
  11. Hi In the LWB version, there is a blind to cover up the boot area. I have seen a picture somewhere, of a fitted cover that is static. It might hinge up or come off completely. Any one know what i'm on about or am i nuts Cheers Ric
  12. I got a set of something similar for my late MR2, they were slip over covers, but the one thing i learned from that was fitting is everything, you've got to know how to fit covers with hog rings etc, its all very well splashing out £275 only to have the covers looking all sloppy. But saying that, these are replacements not slip ons so the cut of the cover should be good. Just remember, this is not leather. Regards ric
  13. OMG i've just looked at his garage..his car is more outrageously blingy than he is!!! (if that is possible) Ric
  14. I wonder how many hides it took for this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-NISSAN-300ZX-Twin-Turbo-T-Bar-BLUE-Cream-Leather_W0QQitemZ180386078751QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item29ffd9201f&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:2136|293:1|294:50#ebayphotohosting Ric
