Thanks LG, Thats what the guy sort of said, his gauges were reading okay, so he could only suggest some other part was causing the problem. I'll gen up on the AC this week and have a bash at fixing it. Cheers Ric

Car pc users
Sorry guys, my fault, i meant a screen that could be "fitted" into the moulding, which shows the output from a PC. I dont mean a single DIN or Double DIN device. Cheers

Air Con problem
Had a guy round last night to re gas the system, he did the usual, emptied the R12 (600g)?? took out moisture, put in R24, after everything was sorted the guages were reading fine, but the output was not cold, 30deg. As the gauges were reading okay, he couldn't diagnose the problem with his big book!! Any one got any ideas? Rich

HICAS and Steering Wheels
Hi I've read a few posts on here that say putting on aftermarket steering wheels can effect the HICAS. The answer seems to be to fit the proper Boss. Can someone clarify the situation and explain why it causes the HICAS to play up. Cheers Ric

Alarm Expert Required
Hi Willie, thanks for that, gives me some places to look. You mention menu access.. how do you do that,is it the button pushing bit or am i missing something. do you have detectors in the cabin to detect the movement, 'cos i dont, maybe it wasn't bought with that option. If i can figure out how to switch off the interior light part i would, rang our local clifford dealer and he wants £9.99 for a wiring diagram. couldn't find anything on the site, its now Gap Security, they're the ones charging £150... Ah Well, keep trying... Rich

Alarm Expert Required
Thanks Willie, but been there done that. Its really frustrating (the position is centre for door switch use) sometimes it works so i arm the car, then in the middle of the night (normally) whatever is happening , happens and the light comes on, clifford alarm thinks, hello, someones broke in and opened a door, i'd better make a racket, and boy what a racket!! I've spoken to a clifford dealer who charges £150 for a call out. I'm trying to solve it myself first..if only i could find the alarm box.... rich

Main Bulbs, can you set me straight.
Thanks all, i'll give it a good clean first and see if its any better. Legrath, Thanks for clearing up the bulb type as well. ric

Main Bulbs, can you set me straight.
According to autobulbs data, both the dipped beam bulb and the main beam bulb are H1, my local auto shop also say this, however i have read on this site that they are H3 or H3c, with a mod to the former to make it similar to the latter (I think) Can someone please put me right as i need to improve the main beam output as its like driving with a candle. (i already have HID on the dipp) ric
