Okay, resurrecting this post, i have not been able to sort out my air con, so, does anyone have any diagrams of the 300zx air con and as i'm stupid, a quick lesson in aircon workings. I might be able to sort it out myself then. Ric

Well i got nothing else to do in my present state, so i'll have a go. If it turned out a bodge there's no way it would go on anyway I'll have a go and see how it goes. i'll post pics as and when. My tailgate spoiler is fubar, so i have a replacement on in grp/glass fibre??.. anyway, its a spoiler. Now i could just put it on and put the rear brake light back in, however , when i put my car PC in i have a rear view camera as well to install. problem is as always, where to put it, I was thinking of placing the camera in the middle of the brake light slot and have a brake light either side.. What do you think? Now just have to find a suitable brake light that fits. picture of camera (next to mouse for size reference) and a picture of the spoiler brake light slot So what do you think? Yeah, nice dials. Bit pricey thou. Ive got a bit of clear perspex which i'm going to spray tint a light smoke, cut to size and fit. I'll see what it looks like and if the daylight vision has improved. I'll post the result. ric

Can the smoked glass be removed and replace with a clear plastic sheet? any one done that? ric

Hi got a bit of a problem, i have a 2 pod A pillar with Boost and Oil temp, very useful i hear you all shout..however, in the day, i cant see them..they have illumination that is on by default, when darkness falls, they are Brill, literally...but when day comes it a different story. They are "Auto Gauge" types. with a smoked glass front. Any one got any suggestions or can point me in the right direction to better gauges Ric

1) Within the ZX300 range, i understand there are revisions within it, can anyone tell me how many, when they were introduced and what were the major differences, 2) The part called PTU, i see there is a lot of people wanting to get the series 2 , what was wrong with the series 1, and how do i tell which version i have. I'm just after some general figures so when people go "WOW! What a car, how much power has it got" i dont say, "Cant tell you , i haven't been on a rolling road..":D but can give them a general estimate I have to say, when i owned a MR2 before, even though it looked pretty special, the zed, even in its delapitated state (sorry mark) it gets far more looks and turns more heads..
